Bieniemy Had Been 'Top Candidate' For Patriots Prior to McDaniels Hiring

JFC, ANOTHER 1 of these? Bah

No I said losing a top WR and their TE no longer being an all-pro caliber player is why the offense is not what it was.
When Hill left and Bienemy was still OC they IMPROVED from 480 to 496 points ( with juju as wr1 btw)
When Bienemy left they went from 496 points to 371.

Bienemy did as well without Hill, but the offense hasn’t been anywhere near what it was with Bienemy since he left.

Check out Kelce's #s the last 3 years and ypc by rushers not named Mahomes.

To attribute that drastic of a downgrade in production to Bienemy when at the same time talent has left, gotten older and was hurt is a stretch.

Huh?
In Bienemy last year Juju was his #1 WR.
Isaiah Pacheco, a rookie was his #1 rb, and he is still there.
He didn’t have Kareem Hunt.
He didn’t have Hopkins either.

You are back to arguing OC are meaningless and it’s all about the TE.

The skill position talent on the 2024 Chiefs is better than the 2022 chiefs. Easily.

No. You are saying I am arguing they are meaningless when I've said no such thing.

Pacheco was also hurt. Look it up. It's all about personnel....and he is role player in that offense.

Better talent? Laughable. Their WRs are average, their TE is 35 and the RBs are pedestrian

Sorry saying Reid is not as good of a play caller as Bienemy is off base

Don’t blame RW, no one is more dedicated to turning every single thing said into an argument than Andy is. The Chef’s lost a significant part of their offensive production, and it declined. Stating that doesn’t mean you believe OC’s are “irrelevant.”

The #1 WR in 2022 was juju. #2 was MVS. Pacheco was a rookie and they gave Hunt now was well.
Did you even look at who they had in 2022? Todays roster is way better.

When did I say anything about who is a better play caller?

I’ve said that the best 5 individual years of Reid’s career (as measured by points scored) were the 5 that Beinemy was OC.
The offense improved when EB became OC and declined (a lot) when Bienemy left.

You appear to want to give him no credit and call it coincidence.

What significant part Juju?

The #1 WR in 2022 was juju.
Who was healthy until the SB. Now their receivers suck although Worthy look like a decent 2 or 3. Edge 2022
#2 was MVS.
Yep. Good deep threat. Edge 2022. They lost Rice which hurt.
Pacheco was a rookie and they gave Hunt now was well.
Pacheco was hurt all year. Hunt is nothing like he was. In 2022 McKinnon caught 50 balls out of the backfield and Pacheco ran for 5ypc. Edge 2022

Did you look at Kelce's age in 2022? Did you look at his production? Did you look at the running game ypc. I don't think you did. Edge 2022

Better, healthier productive talent was the main reason.

No i want to give credit to the talent which makes the OC look good...including Reid.

We can agree Josh is a very good OC. Give Josh ****ty talent and the offense is average.

Bieniemy is doing a great job working his way down the ladder of coaching jobs.

I honestly am not sure what the problem is but at this rate he’ll be an unpaid graduate assistant in a few years.

You think juju is better than Hopkins?

Worthy is better than MVS

Pacheco was a rookie in 2022.

Do you think that TE production and rushing ypc are not affected by OC?

I wasn’t comparing Bienemy to Reid. Reid is the HC not OC. Reid had his 5 best individual offensive years when Bienemy was his OC. Having Bienemy as his OC was better for him than anyone else he has had.

We a re talking about a difference of over 100 points scored and the difference between best in the league and 15th.
The minor differences in players surrounding Mahomes doesn’t make that difference. At best the skill positions are a wash.

The talent that beinemy had at #1 has been average since.

We'll agree to disagree on everything.

Eric Sleeping with Bienemy.
