I just watched Superbowl XXXVI again and heard two quotes I thought I'd share

"The dynasty is born tonight"

and

"It isn't over until it's over"

The funny thing is that botw were said by Rams players

Is there like an NFL replay shortened version of that SB?

Technically, Proehl was correct, he just had the team wrong.......

I don't get how someone can say that when they're trying to win their 2nd Superbowl. You need 3! If you said that before trying to win your 3rd, fair enough. You may have to eat your words but fair enough. But before your 2nd attempt? That's karma!

Not that SB but one of my favorite...not sure why...Malcom GO...and the rest was history

"Malcolm, GO!" is perhaps my favorite Super Bowl mic'd up quote ever....and it wasn't even yelled by a player.....Brian Flores ass't coach. The fact that NFL Films caught that moment is incredible.

My favorite sound clip from XXXVI was Dexter McCleon mouthing off on the sideline. "Tom Brady, overrated".

I love how Brady describes the endzone fade route TD to Patten in SB 36 for NFL Films: "....and McLeon went for the cheese..."!!!!!!

He who laughs last......

John Madden, I think they should play for overtime....I kinda like what Brady is doing.....gives me goosebumps

And It's GOOOOOOD!!!!!

Nothing like still rubbing it in 14 years later! Gotta love it!

I never get tired of watching that clip. Madden's commentary is perfect. He never says he was wrong for saying the Pats should have played for overtime, just that he would have done something different, but he "kinda likes" what the Pats are doing and then that Brady pulled off something truly remarkable, which gave him "goosebumps." The Producers did a great job as well, cutting to Charlie Weiss, who was calling the plays.

My favorite part has always been how nonchalant Brady is when he walks up to the line to spike the ball at the end. He looks like he has all the time in the world and like the guy who was calm enough to take a nap in the locker room before the game.

I also like the way Pat Summerall sets the scene for #4's Kick and then simply says, "and that one is right down the middle" as the ball is on its way. No shouting, "It's up and it's Goooood." No histrionics. Just, "right down the middle" even before the kick is through the uprights. He lets the moment speak for itself and steps out of the way. He was the best.

Thanks for posting it.

Doesn't offer the schadenfreude, but I get chills every time I hear Muhsin Muhammed say, "it ain't over, not with that quarterback."

"Malcolm, go!"

Those two words led to the best moment in NE sports history. At least IMO. I doubt there will be anything that can surpass it.
