It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Houston isn't a top five defense unfortunately, closer to middle of the pack. They rush the passer well though, which we saw yesterday. That he does. I looked at the total Picture.. Houston is a top 5 defense who hadn't had a QB do what Drake did all season.. he broke down the defense with his running ability and throwing on the run.. gave me Josh Allen vibes!
I would do it too Adams is Leagues better than Ridley and Aiyuk players we went after.Yes doubs is a player for them as well!!! I believe we can have a nice WR to grow with drake.. Polk, Boutte, pop, and baker.. add in adams.. he can be had for 3rd or 4th.. pay his contact for 2 years.. do it wolf!
We need to Trade for a Starting Offensive Tackle from a Underachieving Team. We have the Worse Tackle Combo in the League not good for a young QB.IDK, I am encouraged with a lot of what I saw with Maye, but he has a long way to go before he is going to be a good QB. It was good start, but I would pump the breaks a bit.
Absolutely better than get me ball more riddler and MIA ayuik.I would do it too Adams is Leagues better than Ridley and Aiyuk players we went after.
They are a top defense Wozzy have to give them credit.. they create alot of havoc on the passer. Top defenses do that! I want that Jets game. I hope maye dices them up.Houston isn't a top five defense unfortunately, closer to middle of the pack. They rush the passer well though, which we saw yesterday.
The schedule going forward is easy outside of the Jet's defense. Should be a good time for Drake to grow and learn.
19th in points allowed per drive, 16th in scoring percentage, 16th in forced turnovers, middling run and pass defense... there are 32 teams. They are a top defense Wozzy have to give them credit.. they create alot of havoc on the passer. Ok... well with this OL every defense will look better.19th in points allowed per drive, 16th in scoring percentage, 16th in forced turnovers, middling run and pass defense... there are 32 teams.
That's middle of the pack.
That's true...Ok... well with this OL every defense will look better.
Bledsoe in his first season or two with Coates was incredible. His flaws started surfacing later.I’m not even saying he’s Bledsoe, he has a lot of those things to cleanup though.
He’s an exciting prospect… that’s a good start.
I don't know about 'ever' but this is up there. And I’ve been rooting for the Pats since they drafted Jim Plunkett.
I am just exhilarated that we have a QB that can actually move the offense and score. I mean it just couldn't possibly have been worse than Brissett. I think Brissett has regressed and been worse than anticipated. Flacco should have been the bridge instead. That's true...
Agree! I had Allen vibes when he was throwing guys open, using his legs, taking deep shots.. just wow! Felt so good to see this offense unlocked.Bledsoe in his first season or two with Coates was incredible. His flaws started surfacing later.
Given all the suspense about how Maye would look in his first start, against a top D, he passed the test with flying colors. He's more than just an exciting prospect - he's our QB for the next 10 years, there's no doubt. To go from that level of uncertainty to certainty is a big load off our minds.
And it's not just his physical performance, but his leadership and intangibles too. He's got it.
He definitely needs to refine his footwork. He needs to watch film of Tommy using the same mechanics throw after throw, it's like a golf shot. If you change it up on each throw, there will be no accuracy. The back foot has to be planted and he has to step into each throw. Too often Maye throws with his feet flat and facing his receivers, he doesn't have basic fundamentals down and makes the throw with his arm.Bledsoe in his first season or two with Coates was incredible. I'm a big Bledsoe fan, but I hope Maye has better anticipation than Drew had. After Cam - Mac Jones and Zappe we'll take Bledsoe pt.II we're desperate.
Absolutely. Pop has that breakaway ability.. no CB can stay with him in the open field.. he will create for others.. the offense can now seem to function like it was supposed to.. DCs now have to account for Drake running outside the pocket.. that makes LBs, and Safeties have to guess more and play more honest on D. Opens up the running game more as well..What was really cool is he didn't get rattled by early mistakes, kept his cool, made a great throw, took the simple throws. Super encouraging! As we suspected, Pops is going to be a handful now that someone can get him the ball! Going to be much more fun the rest of the way with ups and downs, but better than flat and boring.
Rob we need somebody who can at least Block Air our Tackles are that bad. I know Jacksonville is thin at Tackle I would trade for that guy below .Unless someone is available who the Pats can have for the next 5-10 years or can be had for next to nothing like a conditional fifth or sixth, I will pass. Most players available in trade are players about to hit free agency or are older and hitting the end of their career. It isn't about this year. I am not for trading a fourth round pick for a tackle for half a season and then watch him bolt somewhere else next year. I would rather keep the pick.
Again, it isn't about this year. You don't sacrifice the future just to win one or two more games in a season that you will be eliminated from the playoffs no later than the first week of December.
Brissett also took the brunt of that offensive line and Van Pelt finding their way and learning how to do their jobs. He also played tougher defenses in the 49ers and Jets while all this ^ was going on.I am just exhilarated that we have a QB that can actually move the offense and score.
