Definitely feel better about our ability to put some points on the board. If Maye can clean up the TOs we are competitive vs good teams.

In turn, I feel worse about our ability to stop teams from putting points on the board.

Agree. Few positives

Douglas is a pretty good wr2 and so is Boutte too . We got 2 wide e receiver spots locked down for now.

Polk had a bad game and I expect him to bounce back along with hooper.

On the Oline - Jordan is coming along well along with Jacobs to a smaller extent. With more reps I expect them to become better and either charge a permanent role or a swing role.

Wallace , strange, j Andrews, lowe are injured while sow and Robinson are yet to carve out their roles.

I expect at least 2 to shine from that . So we would have 5 out of 9 spots solidified . This is a lost season but if we can identify the core of the team it would be a huge plus. Let the team make mistakes without killing Maye.

Defense had an extreme off day. I expect them to be much much better at sealing edges and tackling going forward.

I honestly don't think we will get a top 5 draft pick. We might move to 10s. And that would be a good thing because we have closed many of the team gaps internally.

Go pats !! And maye looked solid outside of the first interception.

Dunno... I felt very optimistic after the 01 Brady Pats showed they can hang with the Greatest Show on Turf at Foxboro and only lost by 7... in a game they probably should have won. Turned out I should have felt that way.

Things are definitely looking up on offense. Of course the real test and one which Mac Jones and BB flunked was what will Maye do when defenses around the league has tape on him and starts adjusting to his game. We'll see...

He did a lot of good for someone who just turned 22 making his first start. He’s also still very raw and made some boneheaded throws.

The first interception obviously, step into that throw and it’s a completion to Demario. He missed some open receivers. He threw behind receivers on what should have been routine throws, I’m still concerned about his throwing stance which is helter skelter and likely why these routine throws weren’t on time. There was one to Douglas where had he thrown it ahead and on time it would have been a massive gain. You saw Maye slap his hands to his helmet afterwards knowing he needed to lead his WR better… which is good that’s he self aware.

He’s got a little too much Drew Bledsoe in him, the long ones look easy but he needs to refine his touch on crossers and short ones. He’s a work in progress… 3 turnovers and 9 penalties is why they lost.

I agree. That's is what we want. A actual qb that DCs have to game plan for. That will only make the offense better. Bringing up the safety, making LBs have to think more, CBs and safeties having to worry about Drake running outside the pocket.

That he does. I looked at the total Picture.. Houston is a top 5 defense who hadn't had a QB do what Drake did all season.. he broke down the defense with his running ability and throwing on the run.. gave me Josh Allen vibes!

Yes doubs is a player for them as well!!! I believe we can have a nice WR to grow with drake.. Polk, Boutte, pop, and baker.. add in adams.. he can be had for 3rd or 4th.. pay his contact for 2 years.. do it wolf!
