Bell: "I Think We Beat Them" (if he were healthy)

Isn't he just too cute...

Yea....Bell, Good luck with that..

I said this before but it bears repeating. After we beat them, Steelers fans on the other boards (as copied here) showed they just didn't understand football. They kept saying they had the best RB and best WR, and one of the best QBs, so they couldn't comprehend how they lost to us?

They live in a fantasy football mentality. They don't understand the game and don't read enough about why the Patriots are successful. They get caught up in their 'name' players and don't go in more detail than that. It's hilarious, but it's also sad. Steelers fans especially are guilty of this.

With this quote, Bell shows that he has the same mentality. He doesn't understand why his team lost. Hell, Tomlin still probably doesn't understand. Perfect personnel for this fan-base.

Bell and Brown are both going to be taking up significant cap space for the Steelers next year after respectively being franchised and signing a huge deal. Steelers fans are happy, but that's probably not a good thing for the Steelers who will struggle once again with depth and 'middle class' players. My guess is that Pittsburgh takes a step back next year as Big Ben continues to age.

Yea those skill players are pretty diva'esque and buy into all the adoration they receive for getting to be in the spotlight with touchdown plays.. I hope that front offices, coaches and players like theirs continue to have that mental approach to the game so that the Patriots can keep racking up Lombardi's

Colts have been the epitome of this as well.. Look at idiot Grigson going for a smurf WR in round 1 last year instead of fortifying their trenches... Their fans buy into it as well... They love having a high powered offense so they can tell everyone they have a top elite QB, but then complain about their defense...

Those are pink hat, fair weather fans that only watch and understand the game from the offensive side of the ball.. they just want to see a lot of passing and a lot of touchdowns.. Id recommend the Arena League for those people

Or more likely, if this guy plays, the Patriots drop a 50 burger on you.

Was this a direct quote, or was he secretly being recorded by Brown while the two were hanging out at Tomlin's cookout?

If Bell could've been healthy then would get have Gronkowski healthy and we all know Gronk>Bell. We still win.

Sounds like the 3 B's don't like the Patriot Sting......grow the f*** up.

When did he get hurt? To me it looked like he got rocked a couple of times and headed for the safety of the sidelines. I say he turtled.

Jesus, can't lay off the weed....no wonder he got tagged.

From now on anytime anyone mentioned the Steelers I will ask "they still running the zone blitz vs Brady?".

If so. Then they will lose. End of discussion.

Steelers are our new Indy of 2013-2014

An overhyped media team that we can't wait to demolish. Indy was through the ground & Pitt through the air. Luck/Ben don't show up either.

I loved being at the AFCCG and seeing all the ****y terrible towel morons turn silent by the third quarter. The Pats are their daddy.

Another AFCCG blowout is likely vs. them unless Denver or someone else steps their game up.

Steelers fans have never been the brightest bulbs on the tree. After Noll left, their head coaching intelligence dropped astronomically with each successor.

Proof that you don't have to be smart to consistently win, as they have. Of course, it also helps not to have a chronically corrupt league front office openly biased against you.

I guess he missed the part where the were blown out!

Actually Williams ran better than Bell

According to them, Brady has only a tiny edge over Roethlisberger. Every time we've beaten them, Roethlisberger has been useless until we've had a big enough lead to get into a prevent/soft zone, which is why his statistics haven't been indicative of the gap between the two of them. I can't remember many victories where the lead wasn't at least three touchdowns and where Roethlisberger didn't have at least 200 yards and 2 TDs in garbage time.

They also think that Roethlisberger chooses to play poorly a lot of the time, which is his reason for not being consistent. Not sure why he would want to do that, but you'd have to ask the fans. Ben himself acknowledges he isn't in Brady's class.

according to the injury report, he was healthy.
Exactly.

I'm sure Goody and his brownshirts are knee deep in investigating if the Squealers violated injury reporting requirements.

We'll know more I'm sure at 5:02pm on a Friday
