After we beat them, Steelers fans on the other boards (as copied here) showed they just didn't understand football. They kept saying they had the best RB and best WR, and one of the best QBs, so they couldn't comprehend how they lost to us?
They live in a fantasy football mentality. They don't understand the game and don't read enough about why the Patriots are successful. They get caught up in their 'name' players and don't go in more detail than that. It's hilarious, but it's also sad. Steelers fans especially are guilty of this.
With this quote, Bell shows that he has the same mentality. He doesn't understand why his team lost. Hell, Tomlin still probably doesn't understand. Perfect personnel for this fan-base.
Bell and Brown are both going to be taking up significant cap space for the Steelers next year after respectively being franchised and signing a huge deal. Steelers fans are happy, but that's probably not a good thing for the Steelers who will struggle once again with depth and 'middle class' players. My guess is that Pittsburgh takes a step back next year as Big Ben continues to age.
He passed it to Blunt and Blount promptly won a SB. LolI have nothing negative to say about this man on the field. He's amazing and I mean that, arguably best RB in the league today......
But he should pass me whatever he's a smoking on...
If Gronk was healthy......
I love the IF games.
Steelers fans have never been the brightest bulbs on the tree. After Noll left, their head coaching intelligence dropped astronomically with each successor.I said this before but it bears repeating.
