Atlanta mayor wants bars to stay open late on Sunday

The mayor wants the people to drown their sorrows in alcohol. That's not healthy.

At least you guys still have 40's. I always pick up a few on my way through Georgia and back to Jacksonville.
 
Of course it makes sense, you don't want people driving home while still having tears in their eyes.
 
You don't want bars kicking everyone out immediately after the game. That puts all the angry (or happy) drunk people on the streets at the same time with all kinds of energy and emotion, BAD IDEA. If you stay open until 2:30 AM, they'll leave gradually and less mayhem will ensue.
 
Personally I think there should be no regulations with bar hours. If you want to be open 24 hours, you should be able to.
 
The dumb thing I read after most championship games is the riots - win or lose.

If I were mayor, I'd ban rioters from attending a home game for life.
