Are the Pats physical enough or is my wife right?

I flipped on last nights monday night game in the 3rd quarter and my wife and I were sitting there watching. Let me start by saying she is a casual long time (20+ year) Pats fan.
She turns to me and says this " Sorry honey, but I don't think we can handle these teams, they play like animals".

I was shocked she said it, but even more bummed she's probably right. I would love to see our team play with that type of fire and passion. I know we have a few fire starters on O like Brady, Gronk, Welker. Maybe Spikes return will add some nasty to the D. It's awesome to be 11-3, but I'd rather be 8-8 and win a playoff game. Lets hope we will!!

It's often suggested to men that you allow your wife to win all arguments...EXCEPT one about football. Don't make me have to come over there!

If those teams looked physical, it was largely because both QBs sucked. The Patriots would have shredded either team that played on Monday (the Steelers without Harrison and with Roethlisberger on one leg are a different team).

If Alex Smith could hit an open receiver more than 10 yards downfield, the Steelers' defense wouldn't have looked intimidating at all.

Uh, wouldn't your wife need to spend some, um, 'face time' with the Pats to know if they're physical enough?

Hey, I didn't title this thread....

Interesting thought coming from someone with your poster name.

So far, the dolphins are much more physical
