not sure which games you watched; i thought he looked great
please let me know the games hes looked great, hes always looked like a rookie running for his life, hes been stripped of the ball many times, and has throwm interceptions, i see him as a #3 UNTIL MY EYES SEE IMPROVEMENT

Stripped of the ball many times? if by many you mean by many you mean 3 times in two years. Two of those were recovered by the Pats, in Cassel's first ever real action. The other was that debacle in Miami this past season. If anyone on the team looked good that game, could you point him out to me?

Thrown interceptions? Sorry man, but ONE should be singular, not plural, and that came against the Chargers last year, in his first EVER action in the NFL, in garbage time of a lost cause blowout.

Running for his life? If by that you mean, using his feet to keep a drive alive.

He's the back-up. Should he ever have to be used, I'm sure BB has a plan for that. BB's pretty good a breaking in back-ups that can learn and listen.

Wow people have scary expectations for a second year QB who hasn't started a game since highschool. Apparently he is supposed to step in and look immediately like Joe Montana.

No way Cassell is good enough to be traded to start on any football team right now.

Unfortunately the only real way he would be a decent trade would be the unfortunate situation where Brady went down for a month or longer and Cassell went in and did the job Otherwise I see no chance of any trade happening.

That would be as stupid as with what happened in the Matt Shaub trade which may qualify for most stupid trade in 2007 by the Texans and Smartest by the Falcons.

Has anyone taken note of the QB situation around

the Nfl?.....After you get past about 10 really good

Qb's,you have what?......System Qb's and mediocrity.

Is Cassell a stiff because he was behind 2 great Qb's in college?....Was Kurt Warner because he played in the Arena League?
Damon Huard....because he was the backup,behind a 6th round draft choice(Brady)?

Cassell is no stiff,my friend....neither is Matt Schaub or Josh McCown, who the Raiders are also
considering.

Why?....you ask?.....Let me clear this up for you:

J Russell or Brady Quinn=50M investment(6 yrs)

Josh McCown or Matt Cassell=10M(5yrs)

Plus,you can have Calvin Johnson,Adrian Peterson,Leron Landry....etc,etc.

To be a great GM in the NFL is not all about what
you READ.....but about the potential that you SEE

Tom Brady and Kurt Warner are prime examples.
