Screw that guy. We have Mankins back now. O-line will be even better. The pats will be 7-1 after this week and looking great for a top 2 seed if they go 2/3 vs. the steelers, colts, and jets.

I'm loving this. No distractions from here on out.

Almost Sunday!

I dont know if happy is the right word. I thought there was zero chance he would be back. BB doesnt get rid of a player because of effort, attitude and commitment then take him back when his act gets even worse and another team dumps him.
We are better without him, thats why he is gone, and thats why he wasnt returning.
At least thats my opinion

I'm glad he got claimed somewhere that we won't see him unless it's the playoffs, and that we didn't have to be part of any further drama had he become a free agent. Also, he can now help another team keep Peytie-Pie and the Colts out of the playoffs for us.

Well, I'm satisfied with where he wound up. If he gets his game on, he'll help out against the Colts twice and the Dolphins. The Pats don't play them, so I'm fine with it.

I love Randy for what he did here, but it was time to move on a month ago.

I can't describe how happy I am to not have to deal with him for the rest of the season.

On a side note I'm setting the over/under on how many weeks he'll last with the Titans at 4.5 Place your bets!

I don't hate him. I'm glad that Moss didn't goto a division rival. And as for Merriman at least he is on the worst team in the division so I'm not too worried about him either.

I like where he landed. I like Moss so i wouldn't have had a problem with him coming back, but on the other hand the team is better without him

I'd be worried about him on the Pats roster, wasting a spot!

And as for Moss, I am glad he isn't back, but can't help but hope he does well

I'm glad he went to the Titans. I'm also tired of reading how many people think he's a changed man and wanted him back.

I wish him well though.

Yeah, I'm thrilled. I love not having a deep threat......

You guys listen to too much bile and hate mongering by Felger and Callahan.

I would love to have Moss back (even if we have to endure Felger frothing at the mouth). Despite all the trash the mediots are circulating Moss was well liked and respected on the Patriots.

I am not sure how far the Patriots can go without a deep thread and a compressed field. It is like first and goal every down.

You would rather see the Titans in the playoffs who have the best RB in the NFL, a solid receiving core, a highly mobile QB, and better defense than a Colts team that's beat all to hell?

I'm all for it making the division tougher for them though.

I wanted him back... if nothing else, he made Welker's life easier and more productive.

Happy is the wrong word. I feel badly for the guy. I know all his misery is self-inflicted, but what a waste of talent to get ousted again because of totally unecessary off-field issues.

Mostly I feel that he would hold back the development of young players here. On 2TE-1RB-2WR sets we have Branch and Welker. On 2TE-3WR sets we have Branch, Welker and Tate. Edelman is ready to play now, and Taylor Price is in the wings, waiting for his red-shirt year to end. We are fine at WR.

I'm not as worried about facing him as some are. Pats focused heavily on Adiran Petersen and still help Moss to 1 catch and a long PI call.

Good luck Randy. Keep your mouth shut (except to talk to the press) and be a good soldier. You had it made if only you hadn't dissed Kraft's big fundraiser, ranted over you contract in a post-game presser, got into a shouting match with the OC, and who knows what else. You can have it good in Nashville. Good luck.

If you want to be the World Champions, you should be better than all the other teams. Best the best and you are the best.

Hate to say it, but we are better without him.

That's what I was worried about - if he was passed up by all the other teams before us (not sure where we are - 32?) than there'd be a breathless period of "Will they or won't they?" and then if we didn't (which I presume is what would have happened), the first time we lost a game you'd hear "Oh they should have got Randy Moss back, he wanted to come back and they passed him up" blah blah blah.

Now we don't have to worry about it.

I was kinda intrigued with the idea of watching Moss go deep, Branch and Welker intermediate, and Hernandez releasing down the seam...

I think your the only one that pays these guys any attention. After all you've started a couple of threads about them.

I subscribe to BB's no @$$h0les team building philosophy, so yes, I am happy Moss isn't back with the Pats.
