Anybody feeling LESS nervous?

I'am not nervous cause I know the offense is going to do what they do and put up between 30-35 points, and no way the defense is going to play as bad as it did last time we played the Giants, the D got it handed to them last time, this time there gonna be out for blood and get some revenge.
Good points. Yes, the offense is pretty much unstoppable because we can throw so many different things at a team. So many weapons, to use another trite but true cliche. About the Defense, I saw a Rodney TV clip where he said that the Pats defense played just horribly in that first Giants game, and that they would definitely tighten things up. That's almost like a guarantee, to me. He wouldn't be so adamant if he didn't think, make it know, that they'd play much better. And, the D has already played much better, against Jax and SD.
Having said all that, I still have this worst case engineering background mind that won't let me rest until we have buried this MFNY team.

I have a strange feeling about the game when I think about it. Keep watching Brady's performances in other SB's and I con't see how he blows this one. I really can't.

But in the back of my mind still lingers the thought of them losing. I've been a Sox fan for too long.
Your Sox fan demons haven't been exorcised by the 2004 and 2007 Tito machines? Mine have (until the first losing streak this year).

Yeah, I just have accept that the Pats are the best football team in the League. I'm almost afraid to say it...

I just got into Portsmouth NH last night and am somewhat surprised and annoyed by how relaxed people are about the game coming up....It seems there was more excitement in the air when I came here for Thanksgiving. There were more people with Pats gear, that kind of thing.

My cousin, who lives here still, said he has noticed it too.

What the hell New Hampshire???

Thank you U.S. Senator Arlen Spector (R-PA)!: They were pissed over the Plax business and maybe a little uptight over the 19-0 stuff, now they are enraged.

Exactly.

3 days ago in Andy Johnson's blowout thread, I predicted 46-3.

Events have now caused me to reconsider and, given the new facts in front of us, I have to ammend that prediction to:

Patriots: 49
Giants: 0

I'm confident but scared becaue they've come so far and MUST finish the job now.

That about sums it up.......we know they are the better team, by far.

Yet, there is so much riding on this game just the thought of not winning is unbearable.

How the hell do the players & coaches deal with all of this and make certain they bring their best tomorrow?

Kraft has already said they must close the deal and with all the breaking dogcrap over the past 24 hours - it is even more essential that we win this game.

Without question - this is the biggest game this franchise has ever played, to a man (Seau, Brady, Harrison, etc) the players have al said it, the owner & coaches have said.

It is what it is.....the biggest game ever.

WOW!!

Sorry to sound ridiculously confident here, but there’s no doubt in my mind that we win this game.

I honestly haven’t felt nervous since the playoffs began.

my nervousness has been fluctuating with each passing minute, i honestly cant wait till kick off, which is at 10.30 here in england, funny thing is i got college the next day, and ill be way to tired, cant wait, LoMo for mvp

Before Spector/Walsh/Spygate rehash, I thought the Pats would win by 7 to 14 points. Now I think its gonna be like the first San Diego game, where the Pats come out like Berserkers and are merciless with the giants.

I dont know if its just me but with each passing day getting closer to gametime Iam actually feeling alot less nervous then I was earlier in the week, and my confidence is growing as time goes by that were going to come out on top! Anybody else feel this way..?

I havent had a nervous second.
I am 100% confident and certain of the facts:
1) We are a much, much better team than the Gaints.
2) There is no possibility in my mind that this team is not better equipped to perform in a big game than any team in NFL history
3) The Patriots are the best team in NFL history, and the Giants are no more than the sacrificial lamb the weak conference has offered up.
4) We have already beaten the other 4 best teams in the NFL behind us, Indy, SD, Jax, Pitt. Any of those 4 would beat the Giants in the SB.

I am quite honestly thinking about HOW the Pats win, how much 'extra fun' will be involved in the way they win, than I am thinking about IF they win.

This is by far the most confident I have ever been in the Pats in a big game, and I have NEVER lacked confidence in them before now.

SB XXXVI: "I really think we can win this game. I see more in this team than others do, and I think they can shock the world"
SB XXXVIII "I would be very surprised if we lose. We would have to have a real bad day"
SB XXXIX "This is almost a lock. We are better, and more clutch. There is a very slim chance we could lose, but the Eagles do some things very well"
SB XLII "There is absolutely zero chance we could lose this game. There is not an imaginable set of circumstances that could cause us to lose"

I am working on my gear budget for this year. I would love to be able to get a game jersey representing every Patriots player in this SB.

i'm actually nervous because of spygate incident. i think it will do us more harm if this issue is not death.

Anyone see this quote from Antonio Pierce in the Rodney Harrison article?

""I love him," Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce says. "I love watching Rodney Harrison play. Actually, he's one of my favorite players. I think Rodney is a guy who's definitely going to be in the Hall of Fame, probably one of the few guys in the league that a lot of players look up to. Because he plays the game the way it should be played.""

That makes me less worried about tomorrow

I didn't think the motivational factor would be a big deal, but today the whole thing seems to have ballooned... and I don't think the Giants have a prayer now.

In fact, if this keeps up we might be looking at back to back 19-0s.

I have to give you that Andy....You always have come through in years past with great predictions.....I hope you are right ONE MORE TIME!!! GO PATS!!
