What I don't get here is.. who prevented the rest of the Steelers organization to already start working on the Patriots ? I mean not everyone in your overall staff is busy the day before your game in KC. The majority of work for that game is already done.

I understand the "one less day of rest" angle but why would they hold off on starting prep work ?

Tomlin losing a day and a 1/2 of prep time over BB is pretty significant. Might not make the difference but it doesn't hurt.

it's really only a day and a half if he planned to spend his time at the airport and on the plane partying and twerking. The Pats learned they would face the Steelers around 11:30 EST and The Squeelers likely boarded their bus to catch their charter at 1am.
