My issue with this retirement is just about the timing. Two weeks from season opener? Really?

Jim Irsay and Ryan Grigson ruined his career. Eli Manning got heavily criticized for what he did in the ‘04 Draft, but this is a perfect example why. You work hard your entire life and you’re not going to waste it going to a crappy organization like the Chargers were. You could argue they still are. Luck should’ve pulled an Eli.

Let’s not have more of what’s ruining the NBA.

Luck said in his presser he didn't even think about retiring until two weeks ago. I would like to know what his ankle/foot injury actually is. I think it's obvious this is the issue and not that he just decided he doesn't want to play anymore/make another $150M/remain a hero in the community.
