Awesome! Sometimes I love being wrong. I felt queasy about this whole long tour that Hightower was taking and thought it was abnormal. It appears he accomplished his mission and got the Patriots to come up a little from their initial offer. I am surprised he only got $19M guaranteed.
I was never "mad" at Hightower for his comparatively lengthy decision process compared to most players, but I was pessimistic.
