AFCCG practice news: Patriots & Jaguars (edit)

Ideally it is about that yes. The injury on the report no one is talking about is Barry Church the Jags SS. If Gipson can't go you would think it would be his job to help cover for the backup. If he is gimpy you have to wonder how effectively he can really do that.

That entire back end could be really suspect.

Church will play. Tom will play. Everybody's banged up.
Gipson is the one to monitor, for sure. Waddle likely out of this one which is not ideal since he matches up better vs big powerful ends like Campbell. They might use Campbell more inside to penetrate the front pocket though so we'll see.
Having BB and Dante is the ultimate tranquilizer..

Since we didn't add a PS QB today I doubt very much that there is a realistic chance Brady actually misses the game. No way BB would go into the game with only one healthy QB if there are any doubts at this point.

So until that happens I could not care less what the injury report says.

exactly.

this is really no different than the wickersham article. they take facts and spin them however they want.

clearly, something happened with his hand, but this sensationalism is pretty obvious at this point.

he is scheduled to practice and speak tomorrow and that is all we know until the game kicks off on sunday.

Do we have an emergency QB, now that Edelman is hurt? Somebody on the roster must have played QB in high school. If it is an offensive player, they would already know more about the system than anyone signed off the street today or tomorrow.

edit: After some googling that would make Volin proud, I learned that Jacob Hollister was a HS QB and converted to TE as a freshman:

Twins Jacob and Cody Hollister find niches at Wyoming, Arkansas

Hogan is also in play.

Never heard of him up until this thread. Would've been since to say "Jaguars safety Gipson.."

I thought at first it was an awful typo for Gillislee or Grissom

Nothing wrong with not knowing, but he will be a key piece in the game and just wanted to point it out. I agree about the title.

Then again you told us anyone who knows anything knew that brady wasn’t even injured

I dont know whats happening in the insane asylum that is the Brady injury thread because it got too dramatic for my taste, but I cant wait for the first "BB screwed up the season because he traded JG" thread.

That being said I would enjoy this more than the idiotic "we should play JG" thread if he was still here which inevitability would lead to the "who to start at the SB" thread.

breer is already pumping that angle and it sounds like felger and mazz predictably used it today, too.

absolute losers

"not chasing that goat...nope...not doing it...no sir...no way..."

Apparently, some douche over at BSPN has already begun singing that tune with a headline that includes the phrase, "Belichick's ill-advised trade of Garoppolo".
