    This Tennessee playoff run reminds me of the 2000 Ravens:

    1. Beat Denver in WC round;
    2. Beat #1 Tenn in Divisional;
    3. Beat #2 Oak in AFCCG

    That team had very good defense, good running game and mediocre QB in Dilfer.

    I think Vrabel has them believing, so anything is possible. Would love to see them take down #1, #2, after taking us down.

    KC lost 4 times this year, so teams do know how to slow them down (it would have been 5 if we had competent refs for our game ). If the Titans can get Henry going early and often they have a great chance. KC will not be able to stop their running and Tannenhill doesn't need to throw a ton, he can mange the game and he has made the throws when needed. It keeps Mahomes on the bench and I think their D is capable of stopping KC enough to squeak a win. Of course if the refs again get involved and give KC some cheap first downs then all bets are off .

    They definitely have to take a QB in the draft. I think Tan threw for less then 100yrds per game this post season. Could do a lot of damage with an actual QB.

    Vrabel will devise something to slow Kelce and the rest. The guy is impressive..

    The team that was truly the most equipped to handle KC was the New England Patriots, if you go by their roster in the offseason/beginning of season. They had a solid run game (though still no TE), a plethora of good receivers. Good enough to break 24 points. But most importantly they had a healthy Gilmore-McCourty-Jones-Jackson-Harmon. I think the team was largely built with the Chiefs in mind. That secondary would have given the Chiefs fits. I’m guessing they could have put Jackson or Gilmore on Kelce because they were so deep at CB. Other teams will struggle to contain KC’s weapons. San Francisco has a great secondary, but I think even they will be quite vulnerable.

    Did we miss Mike Pennell at all? Seemed like we could have used him in the run game. He's making plays for KC now.

    If the latest results are any indication, Vrabes doesn't need the advice.

    Tell me if Chris Jones is going to be active and that should determine who wins this game. Henry has been unstoppable thus far and while I don’t expect the Queefs to stop him either, they can slow him down enough if Jones is active. I’m not sure how Tennessee’s defense is going to slow down Mahomes and who is capable of matching up with Hill and Kelce while still keeping their other options contained. I think KC wins this one, unfortunately.

    If the Titans win, they will be smoked by the 49ers.

    Chris Jones played in their previous meeting and Henry still put up 188 yards and 2 TDs. They aren't stopping or slowing Henry down. Henry just demolished two significantly better run defenses.

    Vrabel can comfortably focus only on taking away the pass game. KC's run game is a non-factor. Vrabel will change up coverage assignments depending on situation, but if Brown plays, which I'm betting he will, then he should be able to take care of Kelce. Brown is their best coverage linebacker, and he didn't get to play in the first meeting between these two teams. Instead, KC picked on Wesley Woodyard constantly, with a lot of success. Brown can shut Kelce down. He's fast, has good coverage skills, and Vrabel knows that you have to get physical with Kelce, so he will make sure that Brown is getting his hands on him. Adoree Jackson and Logan Ryan had an up and down day in week 10, but most of their troubles came from poor tackling. They seem to have that figured out. They're playing at a much higher level now and are tackling well. Jackson should be competitive on Hill, and Ryan should limit Watkins.

    People will go on about the 51 points KC scored yesterday, but the Titans pose a lot of the same issues for them that the 2018 Patriots did. Dominant running game, a defense that is getting hot at the right time, and a head coach who is a terrific game planner and motivator.

    As I stated in the other thread, sharp money started flowing in on the Titans immediately last night. The public will be riding KC because of those 51 points, but there's a lot of money to be made on this game for anyone with a brain.

    If the Titans win this one, they will win it all. One of those teams that gets hot at the right time, and had undying belief if themselves and has great coaching. Unfortunately I think this Cinderella story comes to an end.

    KC has way more weapons than Baltimore, and KC doesn't choke like Baltimore. I like Lamarr Jackson, but Mahomes has proven himself. Jackson, outside of the regular season, hasn't. Mahomes is the real deal, not many teams can stop that offense, maybe for a quarter, or a half, but that's it, they explode for TDs in bunches.

    Even if the Titans can't pull this one off I think Vrabel has to be a shoo-in for Coach of the Year.

    It will come down to whether the Titan secondary can slow down the Chiefs and whether the defensive line can contain Mahones to the pocket.

    I expect Tennessee to be able to run the ball, but if the Chiefs get up two TD's...this one is over, IMO.
