The Titan's with Henry can just eat up the clock. Hopefully the Titans defense can stop 2-3 KC drives and not give up big plays. And most of all don't do anything stupid. I pray for a Titans win and a stunned Mahomey sad face.

Lmao, are people forgetting Tannehill was a top 5 QB this season and led the leauge in passer rating? Tennesee isnt all of a sudden going to lose if Derrick Henry cant get going. Tannenhill has been extremely accurate all season and there should be no doubt he can tear apart KC's average defense.

The real deal breaker to me is if the Titans defense can hold back Mahomes or not. I doubt they'll be anywhere near as bad as Houston.

If the Titans get to the Super Bowl after beating KC and Baltimore along the way I doubt they'll get smoked.

Wait...this could go so many ways with you being the respondent to my post. I am kidding about this making an impact on rooting for them to win. I’m not kidding that those are among my favorite uniforms/logo ever, and the Titans unis suck. The Lakers kept their name despite the name no longer making sense going from Minnesota to LA. Tennessee could have done the same. And then the Houston Texans could have revived that awesome uniform but instead have a logo that looks like a vagina and lame unis.

Do you like the old Oilers uniforms?

EDIT: Just read the Titans took the rights to the old Oilers uniforms. Screw them. Now I’m starting to consider rooting for them less. League should have stepped in like with the Ravens/Browns and kept the Oilers history and uniform rights in Houston.

This guy at CBS agrees with you:

The 10 greatest uniforms in NFL history: From Dolphins throwbacks to classic Packers, and an old-school No. 1

Bud Adams followed through on his threats to move the franchise, and it was also he who changed the name, logo and uni's when the new stadium opened.

Old friend Paul "The Patriots Damaged The League" Tagliabue officially retired the Oilers' team name, thus preventing a future Houston NFL team from using it.

The Oilers were a fellow charter member brethren of the AFL with us in '60, and they won some titles. The team in the 70's was very likeable, and their head coach Bum Phillips was lovable. Of course I hated them when they came back from 23-0 in '78 at Schaefer to prevent us from winning our eighth straight game; and then again when they stomped us in the playoffs.

But it was impressive the next season when they went into San Diego to face the top seeded Chargers with Pastorini, Burrough and Campbell ALL out with injuries, and behind Gifford Nielsen, Rob Carpenter and Mike Renfro walked out with the upset and ticket to Pittsburgh. Vernon Perry lost his mind and picked Fouts off four times.

So their logo and uni's are all right with me, maybe...top ten or fifteen?

The Pats' real uni's only made 4th greatest of all time on his list. Of course they'll always be #1 on mine. Objectively speaking.

Meanwhile, the flying elvis, silver helmets and blue jerseys with drab pants regularly ranks last in football, and was rated the fifth-worst in all of sports history.

f.e. is only ranked 8th-worst on this list:

    https://www.foxsports.com/buzzer/ga...ory-ever-nfl-nba-mlb-la-chargers-49ers-011817

    The Titans made 16th.

Kraft will support replacing Goodell before he dumps the flying elvis. Thus, Tom Brady never has and never will have the opportunity to play on the world's biggest stage, representing our community and region, wearing the colors, logo and uniform Patriots fans lived and died with faithfully for 32 years, including the dawn of the modern era of professional football, and the New England Patriots establishing themselves as legitimate contenders. Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Len Dawson, Johnny Unitas, Roger Staubach, Bob Griese, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana and even Jim Plunkett all got to win the big game wearing their teams' classic, established, respectful, traditional, real, attractive, recognizable and classy helmets and uniforms. Tom and his teammates can only continue to play like champions, while dressed like chumps.

    Solution:

    I win PowerBall.

I buy the Texans, and construct a six-figure monument reminding the world there's a special place in Hell where Bob McNair resides now forever.

I restore the Oilers' logo, helmets and uni's worn from 1975-1998, and officially rename the team the "Houston Awlers". This will circumvent the league, and everybody everywhere will know what it really means.

    Problem solved.

Fixing the Pats' looks like it necessitates getting rid of the Krafts. Jonathan is a nice man, but he's never going against Daddy's wishes.

Although I feel a bit like it's a loser's mentality, I must admit I was kind of relieved as to how this past week played out. By losing competitively to a team where it was clear we could have and maybe should have won if one or two things had gone differently, who then borderline dominated (in score and eyeball test) a team most thought to be the new dominant team of the conference if not the league, put the pats in a better light. Also, it saved us the likelihood of suffering a much more one sided loss in the second round. I actually think losing as we did to the Titans, as things have gone, moves away from some of the gloating and negativity we would have faced if we had lost later (maybe even in the conference championship or SB if it was one sided), and puts another team in the position of being more criticized (Baltimore). Of course, it comes at the cost of everyone now believing that the AFC is in the hands of the Chiefs for years to come. But, if they somehow lose or are even given a tough battle by the Titans, that last aspect might also be mitigated some (or, if they lose in the SB, a la the Panthers to the Broncos a few years ago).

I predicted Niners winning earlier but I’m changing my picks to have Packers over Chiefs in the SB. Have a bad feeling Green Bay pulls it out somehow.

Of course I want the team to go as far as possible, but if you were give me a crystal ball that would tell me NE was going to lose 100%, I'll take the wildcard loss and higher draft pick.

And the the New England Patriots could have revived their awesome uniform but instead have a logo that looks like a sick, sad, diseased, decaying corpse and lame unis.

The Patriots completely shut them down in the 2nd half, and held them to 280 passing yards and 23 points the entire game. Hill is wrong.

The Titans can do it, too. Tennessee's defense gets a lot of disrespect because of their regular season ranking, but people forget that this was one of the top ranked defenses early on. They sustained injuries to key players, so their performance as a unit, and therefore their ranking, dropped off over that stretch. They've been getting healthier, and they'll probably be at their healthiest on Sunday. Jurrell Casey and Jayon Brown didn't play in their previous meeting in week 10, but both will play this week. The Titans have a great interior pass rush that will be going up against a weak interior OL, and they've got a lot of speed and versatility at the LB position by way of guys who can cover, defend the run, and rush the passer. Their secondary has been playing much better of late, too. Most importantly in this match up, they're very physical, and they'll be getting their hands on those receivers at the line. KC's receiving corps hates physicality.

I hate to admit having the same feeling. I’m rooting hard for SF because I just can’t stomach GB winning with that d0uche. Feeling like they’re Denver 2015 where they just win every close game somehow, even though they are far from the srrongest team overall. Expecting some special teams TD or SF shooting themselves in the foot. Hope I’m wrong.

Houston had a great 1st quarter game plan, and then acted like they were still up by 24 for the next 3 quarters. Vrabels team wont be undisciplined like that

The secondary/receiver matchup between the Titans and the Chiefs will be interesting. Hopefully the Titans pass rush helps them out

Also, I thought it was funny because it's easy to say that after the one team that can shut down their receivers is out of the playoffs.
