AFC Championship Game: Jets at Steelers

Is it wrong to root for LT to tear up his ACL and have his wife cheat on him with Ron Brace?

Of course it is.
His wife cheats on him with Rex.
Making Sanchez jealous.

I think the NFL will do everything in their power to favor JETS.

Kinda like they did with US in the good ol' days?

Sometimes I do feel a bit of WWF scripting going on...

Jets punt back to Pittsburgh. Let's see if the Jets come out in their nickel again.

They said that about us, I just cant subscribe to it. Its either bad or good officiating. Im pretty sure memo's are not sent to the Refs to favor one team or another

More than sometimes, NFL has become sports entertainment more than anything with what seems like increasingly scripted situations

Interesting to see if the Steeler's O will suffer sigificantly with out Pouncey.

Apparently the NY criticism of bias by Simms has gotten to him. Seriously, it was a good drive and gave his QB confidence?!? Sanchez completed 2 of 4 passes for 17 yards (one for 14 and the other for 3). The Jets rushed for 2 yards on three carries. The Steelers' penalties gained more yards than the Jets' offense.

Hochuli has to be the worst official in the NFL. How does he still have a job?

Heh -- is this the "isn't it funny that the 'Patriots' in red white and blue won the Super Bowl after Sept. 11?" argument?

How does a Jets SB win or loss effect the teams prospects for success in the future? Just curious

Now Jets are the one not adjusting. Still in their nickel.

EDIT: although they've changed to a 40 front.

I believe that in the NBA (it's been all but proven by Mark Cuban, among others), but I'm not there with the NFL yet. It's not to the point where specific teams know that they can't win when specific officials are involved. In the NFL's case, I'm more inclined to attribute it to incompetence.

Mendenhall is the GOAT!!!

Kyle Wilson got burned on that run. I wish the Pats picked him instead of McCourty.

i can't believe one of these teams has to win....ugh

Well, whatever disease of the mind LdT has, I'm sure she has it too. At the very least, she's a carrier.

IMO we won't know until the offseason. Curious to see who stays and who walks if/when a salary cap comes back. I'm not going to write them off or anything, since they've proven pretty adept at cutting guys and filling in the holes, but they have some tough personnel decisions to make.

Is anyone else finding it frustrating that the Steelers are doing what the Patriots should have adjusted to last week?

The reason why Simms may seemed bias to the Pats is because, He of all people can apprieciate a QB playing at Brady's level.

As far as what he said about Sanchez, that doesn't sound any different then the way he talks about a lot of young QB's in big games.
