It's easy, and only takes a few moments. To be fair, this has given me a new sense of respect for the honesty of guys like Cousins and Beasley.Idk if this post is so much a covid related point or a human nature point but...
It's funny all the criticism he's getting for "lying" or not being fully honest about his vaccination status, when people are called every derogatory name under the sun for not wanting to be vaccinated.
It's like being mad at a ginger for dying his hair black because everyone criticizes redheads for having no souls. Which they don't
I just can't stand him - so I won't feel bad regardless of what happens. The irritating part is if this potentially derails their season (or worse), you know the time is probably coming for the Packers to move on from him and they'll likely send him out of the conference. The NFL is certainly not a fair and unbiased organization, but if, say, an objective mediator were brought in to look at this violation and base it on previous precedent, and in fact Rodgers has violated all these protocols, this should amount to losing an entire draft and forfeiting the Arizona game on account of him being an ineligible close contact.
Chiefs Ravens and Browns still have to play the Packers this year. This is really bad news for the Pats. Chiefs have the same record as us. I really want them buried if at all possible.

Here comes the spin... I told you the NFL would find a way out of this. Now I'm reading rumors that he was in Canada with his fiancee and might have gotten vaccinated with the AstraZeneca one there. That one is not FDA approved but it is approved and used in Canada and the UK.
That one is also not listed in the NFL protocols so it is still definitely a violation of NFL rules...
I don't think it was even like that. I think the NFL fully knew he was unvaccinated and decided to let him act like he was vaccinated all year. Arguably even worse.I was curious what the consensus was among you folks regarding Rogers. I can't stand him. What I find amazing is that a multi-billion dollar company, possibly trillions, has no monitoring system in place to track who has and hasn't been vaccinated. I don't buy that. Does anyone else find it questionable that the NFL is taking someone's word for whether they have been vaccinated or not?

Again, let me repeat this: the protocol for determining "close contacts" is specified, in writing, by the NFL. Players wear proximity trackers that allow teams to determine this. That's part of the reason why when Onwenu tested positive, Wynn ended up on the COVID list, but the other OLs didn't.The NFL is certainly not a fair and unbiased organization, but if, say, an objective mediator were brought in to look at this violation and base it on previous precedent, and in fact Rodgers has violated all these protocols, this should amount to losing an entire draft and forfeiting the Arizona game on account of him being an ineligible close contact.
From Ian Rapoport:
"He has called himself immunized, which is not the same as vaccination. He has been wearing a mask inside the building, he has been following COVID-19 protocols, he has been undergoing daily testing. All the things you do if you are not vaccinated."

If Rodgers was, in fact, a close contact, then someone took active steps to hide it, and the team itself should be in a world of hurt. The more plausible explanation is that he didn't spend enough time in close proximity to trigger the rule.
His employer is irrelevant to the principle. He's employed by the NFL, not society in general.
This may be a blessing in disguise for GB. They get to see Love against a wretched defense. I am interested to see how the team responds to him too. When he came in during the Saints game, they seemed to elevate for him.
What if he lights it on fire? Oh boy. That would be delicious.
