Felger is a primping ass, but he does keep a VERY clean work environment. Mazzarotti is the most ugly-minded waste of space ever to be granted public bandwidth. Felger is tedious, but he feeds the needs of those for whom sports talk is just gossip. Mazz is worse.
As for The Trade, it's a stupid idea, a waste of draft resources for a declining WR who will no doubt earn more than he is worth for a far shorter duration than delusional fanboys imagine. A "proven" player is a euphemism for an old, fading player. This team is or ought to be in draft-and-develop mode, not lost in snatching at shiny objects to feed fans' need for excitement.
Trading ANY first or secondround pick for him is foolish. A drafted player give several years of inexpensive service and can then have longer-term upside potential. It is an incontrovertible fact that a player such as Brown has no long term potential, no upside over time whatsoever. Acquiring Brown at this point in his career looks like something the Jets might do, tbh, or any other team too lazy and impatient to do the actual work of rebuilding a recently-failed team.
