22 is an unlucky number

It seems whenever there is a winning streak of 21 games, the 22nd game is a loss for the Patriots. In 2004 the Patriots were going for 22 wins in a row, including playoffs, and got beat soundly by the Steelers. Last year they were going for 22 regular season wins in a row against the Dolphins and got beat again. And then going into the game against the Jets, Brady had 21 wins in a row for games he started and that streak was ended. Still when you consider that 21 games is a season and a third without a loss, it is quite an amazing accomplishment.
