Now that football is finally here, we can get started on deciding this.

I do think, for now, CB is need #1 based upon need but more importantly, positional value. Woods is fine as a CB5 but I don't want him as the first backup option at outside corner really.

Nevermind this alternative should we let Davis go, which might be likely.

Just to be clear, this doesn't mean I don't think we should to take a LB/DT/S in the first round. Just that the edge probably goes to CB if the right one is there based upon positional value alone.

Right now, with the way camp has started, albeit with a long way to go, you could argue that we don't have a need at WR, RB and TE*, especially with Hill coming back for next year.

* Still a little way to go. Raridon needs to continue to have a good camp and ultimately prove he can take over from Henry in '27 while Arkin has looked really good as a blocking TE but might need to be a bit more than that.

After the report from camp today I would say QB1 is a definite need. 18/19 complete passes isn't great. Need a QB that can go 19/19.

DT if there is a stud in their range. Then LB and CB.

I want defensive BPA ideally but this is shaping up to be a deep DT class, and linebackers don't carry the same value as CB. DT will come down to what they end up doing with Barmore. If I was a betting man, right now I'd say CB is the likeliest pick but there's a long way to go.

We might want to think about taking TE off the needs list.

Hunter Henry, Eli Raridon, Julian Hill along with Arkin and Dippre and nevermind Reggie Gilliam, doesn't leave a lot of room to add a TE to the roster. At least one on day one or two.

Is OG the only offensive position that’s close to a priority now? I suppose maybe WR if Kyle Williams doesn’t work out.

Defense almost all the way!

Sign Ikem Ekwonu as a FA and OL is set. Then defense for 2027 and 2028. Maybe a Rham successor.

I've got to do it.

After the first half of the first pre-season game (lol I know), defensive depth please! The 2nd and 3rd stringers have not looked good.

Funnily enough, I did take a quick look at draft kickers earlier this week.

I don't know about "worst in the NFL", but probably not far off. And not just the depth for 2027.

Elijah Ponder is going to be an important player for us this year in terms of the draft. The fact that he hasn't been used throughout the pre-season is a good sign of the teams's confidence in him. however, he's going to have to prove himself capable enough to be EDGE 2 or 3, otherwise, EDGE becomes a much bigger need. If he does prove himself, we're only left looking for an EDGE 4 which could be a mid to early day 3 pick. If he doesn't, EDGE is probably a first or second round need.
