2026 Draft: Tight Ends

Any love for Joe royer 2 here???

Is it an improvement on Joe Royer 1?

I've yet to study him personally, but I'm not that enamoured with the TE class this year.
I think it not be a sneaky good class hope we double dip.

He might have been for me too until I found Will Kacmarek. I'd take any of Kacmarek, Bredeson and Hardy. Three great blockers.
Remember we should have FB Brock Lampe coming back next year. Very powerful Blocker from the FB position.

Will Kacmarek #89 v Derrick Moore #8

Why I like Oscar Delp as a future Hunter Henry replacement.

Look at the acceleration here.

He's a keen blocker. He's #4

My question is how you fit him on the roster. Is he good enough inline to replace Austin Hooper next year as TE 2 before working himself up to be the future TE 1? At least he has the inline experience whilst having the TE 1 athletic upside. There aren't many in this class that can claim that.

Oscar Delp was hard to read for me because I don't like his QB. Thanks for reeling me in: you can see there's more to him in the passing game. Delp might be a better Pro than College player. I would still double dip at the position if they think C.J. Dippre is nothing special. Nice to see A Hooper catch a pass last night: that said he should be easily replaced next year.

There are some very good blocking TEs in this draft.

No worries, easily done.
Houston's TE Tanner Koziol 6'7 250 not too fast move the chains guy RZ threat. His catch radius is impressive too he can climb the ladder.

I like him but he's not a very good blocker which will be important if he's to replace Hooper.
