2026 Draft: RT

Scouting report for Monroe Freeling from 3 years ago as a HS Senior:

Physically-gifted offensive tackle prospect who pairs an elite frame with high-end athleticism. Has the best combination of frame, flexibility and functional movement skills among the strong offensive line group in the 2023 cycle. Grew to around 6-foot-7, 295 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length to go with the stature, checking in with a 7-foot wing-span and arms that measure over 34 inches. A fluid, flexible mover on the field. Moves as well as any top offensive lineman in the cycle. Tests very well in the combine setting and is a dunker on the hardwood. Flashes his high-end reactive quickness as a run and pass blocker. Has some dominant moments when working to the second level. Added strength as a senior showing increased finishing ability. Also doubled as a disruptive defensive tackle, with the ability to take over games on that side of the ball. Will need to refine his pass set at the college level. Looked like the top offensive line prospect in the cycle after a strong week at the All-American Bowl.

Freeling has the frame - had it while he was still in HS. He has the athleticism. He has the power. He has the versatity. He has the toughness. He has the work ethic. I think he's the complete package, flying way under the radar, at Georgia of all places.

Also mentions he has 11" hands.

6'7" 315# SEC OT with RT and LT experience. Pro frame, looks the part. Former TE and basketball player, elite movement skills. 34+" arms, 7' wingspan, 11" hands. Very athletic, should test well. Good tape, grades well in both run and pass. Powerful, tough, physical, nasty. Strong team and leadership skills. Smart, good work ethic.

Freeling checks every box for me.

I mentioned that. Bailey got 2 sacks against Arizona St., both on inside moves. Iheanachor stonewalled the outside rush.

Q: How do you counter velociraptors?
A: Put a T-rex on them.

That was such nonsense, there are a few very fkn good Tackles with 33"arms.
Moses has been a great pickup, he might not be the "Best" but he's pretty solid with great ethics, and teaching skills.
Won't hate it if he comes back next year, but we obviously need a youngin to come in.

Blake Miller sounds like a Vrabel kind of guy:

Up to my #2 RT prospect after Monroe Freeling. Needs to get more powerful and not fall on his face so much, but otherwise the complete package at RT.

Actually, My RT list right now looks something like:

[1. Spencer Fano, Utah. Will go too high, and is he a guard?]
[2. Francis Mauigoa, Miami. Will go too high, and is he a guard?]
3. Monroe Freeling, Georgia. I actually like him best based on tape.
4. Blake Miller, Clemson.
5. Max Iheanachor, Arizona St. Handled the velociraptors better than the Utah kids.
6. Isaiah World, Oregon.
7. PJ Williams, SMU.

Austin Siereveld, Cayden Green and Carter Smith are also strong options, but I think they will all move inside.

Caleb Lomu and Trevor Goosby not strong enough, but worth keeping an eye on.

Kadyn Procter too inconsistent, no redirectability. More likely a guard, likely to go higher than I would take him. Might be an awesome RG if he falls.

What about Double F? You know, the guy with the un-spellable name?

Damn, forgot. There are just so many.

Need to watch more, but he's on the list. Maybe more of a road grader than what I want.

I love the uber-athletic line approach, but guys like Vega Ioane and Fa'amoe are brutes who beat the crap out of people.

And I totally forgot about binky Niki Prongos. Dang. I would put him right after Blake Miller.
