Yes, it is used to measure against other players. But that doesn't change that a 74 for a LT is equivalent as a 74 for a WR. It is just different criteria. Now LTs in the league might have outplayed WRs as a whole that week and 74 could be 12th out of all LT while 74 could be 5th out of all WRs. But the scores themselves doesn't change.
Fair. I just never thought to use the scores against different positions and don’t mind if they don’t really match up. I mainly care that they’re accurate about comparing the play of one position group to a group of the same position.

andersen & hunter? 15 each per pfr...
So more not less. I’ve watched them a couple times, I’m guessing Rodger’s will be doing a lot of three step drops and ball out quickly.

The Chargers barely tried to run the ball with their RBs. That’s seems like a really bad idea.

Their main one was injured and their backup was getting nowhere. Only Herbert was getting some good runs. We’re back to the really good run defense, I think.

My fault - I didn’t realize that his 3rd potential turnover (and 2 fumble) of the night was recovered by his own linemen.

He had 1 INT, 2 fumbles, and a 58% completion percentage. Yeah… that’s great…
And when it matters the most in the 2nd half he went
11 of 14 for 173 yards and 1 TD which was a 28 yard 4th qtr throw to ice the game
Also had many key runs
Yes he did not play so well in the 1st half.
Could be a combination of big game young player jitters and figuring out the defense
What’s encouraging is that he does not get discouraged on the biggest stages
We are so thrilled to challenge again because of Maye
On the other hand it must suck that the Bills have never won it all
And have wasted Allen’s career up to this point
But most of all the Patriots are back

did better than allen did in his first playoff game, he won.

Campbell was pushed back almost into Drake several times last night. I'm curious what you consider to be "bad" in terms of pass blocking with that in mind..
I really didn't see where he pushed back that many times. He got pushed once when foot was stepped on by Drake as he threw and Drake still completed it. There was the 2 beat around the edge plays. That's really about it in terms of effects on Drake throwing from the pocket that showed up on tape. 39 pass plays, 64 plays overall. I thought he held up well based on reviewing every play.

Let's not underestimate the dominate run blocking game he had.

First 3 drives of half 2-

11 plays , 58 yards , fumble
8 plays , 64 yards, fg
7 plays, 80 yards, td

Then the 2 drives after that is where we went mostly conservative and just trying to run out the clock. So our offense actually did well after halftime, just the bad fumble . If not for that we score a minimum of 13 in half 2, more if Maye doesn’t miss hooper for an easy td or we actually needed to run our real offense the last 2 drives. Great job of adjusting after a rough first half.
May’s played a great 2nd half, 11-14 for 173 yards and a TD.

Do we think vrabel is too reluctant to sit players in game?

The left side is the line should have been reset to what we’ve had most of the last month

Allen was straight donkey in his first playoff game.

Difference between me and you all? I can admit that!

Only Vidal was healthy. One of their longest runs was on Herbert's fumble. They weren't getting much...

That catch was so big they named an Air Reserve Base after him out in Chicopee.
Appreciate the humor. As a native of Chicopee, I would add a bit of (real) history. The base was named for Major General Oscar Westover who was commanding officer of the Army Air Corps in the 1930s and who tragically died in an air crash. Starting in the 1950s, Westover was a SAC base and headquarters of the Eighth Air Force with its nuclear equipped B-52s. In 1974, it was transferred to the Air Force Reserve and today is the largest Air Force Reserve base in the United States.

Any objective fan should be able to admit he wasn't good in the first half.
Any objective fan (Pats fan or not), should be able to admit he was good in the 2nd half.
11/14 for 173 and TD is better than solid. 79% completion rate over 12 yards per attempt. Those are pretty elite numbers and a very high completion % for that depth of target.
The fumbles were bad. The one where he got hit once and decided to recock with the defender right behind was bad. He needs to eat the ball there and go down.
One or 2 plays aside his second half was excellent.
So yes, if the game ended at halftime it would have been bad, but games don't end at 30 mins. He had a very good second half.

Agreed!

If Allen doesn’t ball-out, the Bills are toast.

Thankfully, Allen typically goes nuclear in the playoffs.

Obviously not nuclear enough.

On any given day, you can go out to Shopping malls near there and watch a variety of the large Military Cargo planes doing training stuff.

Bradbury was just as responsible for them not picking up the stunts/twists.
It's not coincidence the left side, manned by two rookies, has had a problem with stunts all season.
