Given the horrific offensive line play by most of the teams in the NFL this season, I fully expect 32 O-linemen will be drafted in the 1st round.

I felt so jealous watching the offensive explosion last night Bengals and Chargers.. we may as well have red shirt all of our 2024 picks not named Drake maye becuase they aren't doing anything to help the team. We need at least 2 WRs basically every good NFL offense has 2.

short answer: no

little bit longer, but still pretty short: from what I have read, no teams have multiple first round picks, and no trades involving 2025 first round picks are in play here.

Wish there could be some sort of alternate universe where picking Maye happens this year, but the rest of the 2024 class actually happens in 2025. Would be talking about the likes of a Nabers or Alt right now with where the Pats may wind up in the draft order. Talk about hitting both positional need and appropriate draft value.

Should the Patriots pull off an upset in Miami, they would most likely drop in the 2025 draft order from 6th to 10th, a half game behind (ahead?) of the Saints, Bengals and Dolphins. I highly doubt the Titans, Browns, Giants, Raiders, Panthers or Cowboys will win this week.

I agree, you have to have a strong OL to beat the good teams. Fix the OL first, then move on to the other areas they need to address.

The Pats schedule doesn't appear to have many potential wins on paper, but I didn't realize how much more difficult it was than the schedule of most of the other teams that are 4-7 or worse (the bottom 11).

The current #1 team (Jaguars) has the most games versus teams with losing records. How they perform down the stretch will have the largest impact on the 2025 draft order. They have three winnable games, and five versus teams with losing records.

Cleveland and New England have the toughest schedules: both have only two versus teams with losing records, and neither is in the bottom-11. Carolina only has one game against another bottom-11 team.

The Raiders only have late games versus Jacksonville (week 16) and at New Orleans (week 17) as potential wins.

The week 15 Panthers-Cowboys game will be a big game regarding draft order, as well as the two Raider games above.

The Jets are another bad team with few winnable games. Their best chances for wins are at Jacksonville, and home in week 18 vs Miami if the Dolphins are eliminated by then.
