2025 LT

Who knows. I don't see how someone as athletic as Conerly makes it to 38.

I think Simmons has a better chance with the injury questions and potential maturity issues. But, as they say, it only takes 1 team ....

Id say Ersery is the best likely OT available at 38. Maybe Conerly or Simmons make it, but the amount of teams needing tackles lead me to believe they're first rounders.
I don’t see any of the top 6 making it to 38.

I'm not sweating it. They already know if Ozzy Trapilo is a day 1 starter or not, and they can get him at #38 if it's a yes.
You're right, Scar is giving them the personalized scouting report

How do you feel about Trading #4 IF either Hunter or Carter is there?? We would ask for 2026 First in the Trade Package plus a Day 2 pick. IF a Team won't part ways with that Future First no Deal.
Absolutely don't trade out of #4 if Hunter or Carter is there, and absolutely do trade out if Hunter and Carter are gone.

I doubt it. I have read that he won't get past the Eagles at #64. As I stated above, LT is way over drafted.
4th might be a stretch lol but i just don't like him as much as others.

As @dliverey44 says above, they'll have copious notes on whether or not he's a LT at the next level.

Scar showing up at 1 Patriot place:

McShay saying he's hearing more and more about Campbell to the Patriots.

Him and his partner Muench say Membou is strictly RT. They bring up the names like Walker and Graham and Jeanty and say it just doesn't make sense at 4.

Basically what we've talked about here. Without Hunter or Carter, you have flaws with everyone. So Campbell makes sense. He bas Campbell in his top 5 overall.

No-one likes him as much as the others, but he is a R2 guy.

Who you got at LT? Trapilo or Lowe?

I agree but doubt a true LT like Conerly or Simmons makes it to #20. Ersery falling to the 3rd seems absurd to me too. Certain positions, QB, WR1, LT always are over drafted because there are so few and none in FA. Tough to get a good LT without being top 20, but we only need someone better than Lowe so maybe anyone in R3 would be OK? LOL
If we don't get Hunter or Carter, I would think that we would be picking a LT in the top 10 picks.

If we do get Hunter or Carter, I would think that we should try to trade up to 20 or 21 to get a better set of choices than waiting until 38 or even trading up to 25.

A 3rd might get us to the high 20’s. It’ll be more expensive to get to the low-mid 20’s.

I am becoming more enamoured with the idea of Charles Grant. My reasoning:

1. He's not going to be a very good LT in year one, or at least not at the start of it but all the LT candidates have their issues for year one. However, in the long run he could be one of the best in this class with his length and quickness. It's a pick for the future for sure.

2. He'll be cheaper. By that I mean that he won't require a trade up from 38 like a Conerly or Simmons would.

3. I think this should only be considered if we go with a different position with our first pick, whether that be Hunter, Carter, McMillan or someone else.

4. It's certainly a risk but all the LT prospects are.

As a professional adopter of everything you like, I went and tried to mock us either Charles Grant or Logan Brown (or both) in the 5th.

* First try: Missed. They both went in the 4th. Alright, let's shoot a round earlier next time...
* Second try: They both went in the 3rd.

I think it's validation that more people are seeing what you had already pointed out for weeks with these 2 players.

Note: Using ESPN's simulator.

Personally, I dont see hiw Grant could fall out of round 3. He's too talented.

And with Brown, I could see the 3rd based on how things go earlier. Teams will panic on a tackle if a run goes before their pick. See the Patriots with Caeden Wallace last year. He never should've gone in the top 70 picks last year. Shouldn't have gone top 100.

Yeah I saw a graph Wolf really Reached for him: Dude had Day 3 written all over him.

You still see Brown as a much better prospect than Wallace was on draft day last year right?

Especially on day 3, I'd always bet on the better athlete. They're obviously different players and Brown has the character concerns looming, so that clouds it. But I'd take Brown over Wallace as a developmental guy because he has the athleticism. Clean up technique, and the upside is much higher.
