2025 Draft Strategy

Patellar tendon is a rough 9ne, and medicals obviously need to be checked. I don't put much stock in Breer's reports, but teams have to do diligence. Simmons is the wild card in this draft - clear OT1 by a considerable margin if healthy, and an easy top 10 talent at a premium position. Without the injury, we would probably all be praying he lasted to #4.

So many potential top 20 picks have injury questions:

- Abdul Carter
- Jihaad Campbell
- Will Johnson
- Colston Loveland

Hopefully teams will do diligence on every one equally.

I wouldn't mind a Extra Second Rounder to grab TE Mason Taylor a young one to grow with Maye. M Taylor can do it all like his dad.

Draft gods are gonna give us what we need twin.. we've had plenty of OL first round selections over the years... mankins, solder, Strange to name a few.. gotta get the LT spot sured up or Drake will end on IR.

Trade up targets if we don’t get the LT at 4.

Whatever Vrable feels like is best for the team we need to do... as long as we come out the draft with a OT.

BPA, we picked Polk ahead of DeJean Cooper last year LOL

I would have gone for Kool-Aid, but I am not sure how that will work out. In any case, Polk was a disaster. He cannot get open. Cut him now and be done with it...there is no point in hanging on to a player just because he was a high pick, although teams (including the Patriots) do it all the time.

I'm going to ask. Why cut him now when we can just see how he does in camp and pre-season. If he doesn't perform then sure, cut him then, but there seems to be zero upside in doing so now.
