Before the draft, I had watched a couple of their post game college press conferences after some of their biggest losses, and that's what they've been. Milton (got his Michigan degree in 3 years) was actually criticized for seeming aloof and uncompetitive (which I thought for a while), but the dude just turns the page quickly. What was interesting to me was the post game press conference. At the podium, Joe Milton just has an aura of a stud. He's very calm, well spoken, intelligent and extremely likable. He talked about his ability to stay calm on the field and not panic.
When Maye took the podium he spoke like a nervous teenager who just wasn't comfortable with lots of "yeahs" and nothing but cliche. The contrast in the two was striking.
With Maye, he's still quite young, but he never got anywhere close to full brooding teen like McCarthy or Caleb.
