Not a bad showing, congratulations coach Mayo ! Defense looked well coached and dominated up front. Special teams was solid all around.

Harris runs hard. Boutte with some nice grabs. Quiet day from the rookie wr’s. Didn’t like what i saw from the starting OL, kinda worried there. Good blocking on the screens.

Milton looks promising. Brissett with a couple rough throws. Maye looked ok. Both rookies showed poise i thought.

Hopefully wont see much more of zappe and juju

I’m thinking Brissett was affected by weather, and it was improving so better for Maye and even moreso for Zappe and Milton.

True. TT had him beat. Bazooka Joe would have hit him in stride.

I may be the only one, but I was not happy with the broadcast. They talked over penalty announcements, making it difficult to hear either. There was absolutely no play-by-play, making it tough to follow who was doing what. I know it's 'only' preseason, but it kinda felt a little disrespectful to the players on the field.

Struggling to understand zappe getting so much playing time. As for joint practices a yr ago they were criticized for too much fighting.

One instance was when Mayo was asked about who stood out to him and he answered Joe Milton. It’s a small thing but I was thinking Belichick would never personally highlight an individual player, certainly not in a preseason game.

I was surprised also. Didn’t even say the normal “but there were some other guys who also played well, etc.” … again, he’s got to be a little careful to not let it get out of hand.
