Who cares, we know the passing offense is not good, but it’s not historically bad which is the point. It’s not an offense that throws the ball much either.
You’re gonna tell me you would take the Carolina Panthers passing offense THIS YEAR over ours?
If so, trying to equate one statistic to conclude that they’re an historically, bad offense is pretty meaningless
Of course it’s historically bad.
We are throwing for 102 yards per game.
We have been sacked 11 times in 77 attempts. (To put that in perspective if we throw 35 times a game, which is about the league average we will get sacks 85 times this year)
We gave 1 passing TD in 3 games.
We have converted 9 3rd downs passing in 32 tries with 7 of them being sacked.
On 25 3rd and more than 3 pass plays we were sacked on 6 and converted a first done on 5.
Through 3 games our entire WR room has 21 reception for 169 yards.
Over a 17 game season that projects to 958 receiving yards from all of our WRs COMBINED
Last year 31 players individually had more, Tyreek Hill had almost twice as many.
Our WRs average a paltry 8 yards per catch and we have had 1 pass play to a wide receiver of 20 yards (and it was just 22) in 3 games.
We have scored 13 points per game and have 3 total offensive TDs in 3 games.
The Mac Jones/Zappe offense score 47% more tds per game. They passed for 77% more yards and scored more ppg.
This is epically and historically bad.
