Wouldn't it make sense to bring in a veteran QB (Joshua Dobbs for instance) as a backup between Brissett and Maye? If Brissett gets injured, you can put said QB in. Not Maye. Putting Maye in is malpractice with this OL.

Or, make Milton the backup.

How many times did Brissett get sacked.. by the way Bailey Jones says to tell you Wozzy at least I average 192 a game last season..
You can't blame BB anymore... he's long gone.

The line is an abomination, sticking a 22 year old out there against the 49ers should get the entire coaching staff fired.

Thank god irrational fans don't make personnel decisions.

How many times did Jacoby get sacked???.. ... a veteran QB that supposed to be showing Drake the way... how's that going?...
Who would you rather suffer the torn up knee or displaced hip... Jacoby or the prized first round rookie QB?

Try thinking with your brain instead of your emotions.

The only hope right now is if we get a few returners from IR soon: Barmore, Bourne, Takitaki.
And Sow may help the OL, along with Jacobs getting more involved (the only guy who looks like a legit LT)
I want to see this for a full game: Jacobs - Sow - Andrews - Onwenu - Wallace
Curious to see how Thomas did in review too.

The smoking crater otherwise known as the talent on this team can absolutely be blamed on GM Bill. No wonder no team wants to employ him.

Curious to hear what the Cleveland media sounded like during BB's tenure. I'm sure PHI talk radio would probably be just as... acrid.

Never knew about this (per Steve King):

AN ICY PERSONALITY: Following a loss to Pittsburgh that knocked the Browns out of those 1994 playoffs – their third defeat to the Steelers that season – an extremely frustrated Belichick returned to Browns Headquarters. He was already upset about the loss and the fact that by then, Cleveland fans were screaming that the team had hired the wrong Bill – they instead wanted Steelers head coach and former Browns linebacker and assistant coach Bill Cowher – but his temperament was made worse when he discovered that his car was caked in snow and ice. Lacking a scraper, or perhaps not wanting to unlock the car and get it, he angrily began cursing and pounding the ice with his fist to break it up. A security guard saw what was going on and offered Belichick the scraper from his car. Belichick pounded with the scraper so hard that he broke it. He then threw the scraper back to the security guard and, without saying thanks, got into his car and headed for home.

BEAR-LY TOLERABLE: The people in Boston – and nationally – poke fun at Belichick all the time now for how terse and irascible he is. Ha! Are you kidding me? He is a teddy bear compared to what he was in Cleveland. Why? Because after going through the Cleveland experience, Belichick was smart enough to know the media wasn’t going away and, for his own good, he needed help in that area.
I want my HC to hate to lose.

Wozzy.. your a good poster you know very well Brissett isn't good. No one is blaming Bill in fact no one's uttered a word about Bill. This is wolf and Mayo's team now. Inexcusable to miss hooper he was all alone. The game was just really a total team let down..

With a full week to prepare as a starter and game planning around drakes ability even with this piss poor line I like Drake to move the offense better

The OL was not good last season either but pointing that out makes one a Mac Jones shill or something.

Maye's got some work to do here...

Maye got sacked twice in 16 snaps... stop sniffing glue.
That could be because they also put in the 2 backup OL, had no Rham or Henry. And the Jets just went full blitz mode during garbage time with no threat of run. It should change when they start to game plan with him, and he gets 80% practice reps.

Exactly. Although Jacoby has not turned the ball over he hasn't done anything that is conducive to winning either. Drake starting even with this O line gives us a better shot.

I really don't care about wins this year. I really don't. I fear putting Maye in right now will destroy the kid. Even in his brief appearance last night, I felt he still needs some significant work. He made, in my mind, mistakes that he shouldn't be doing.

On the screen to Stevenson that got stuffed at the line. He is supposed to sell that he is looking down field to try to draw defenders away from the line of scrimmage, but he threw the screen pass right away and Stevenson was blown up right away.

On another play, he immediately took of and ran as soon as the pocket started to collapse when he could have probably bought a few seconds to potentially get a passing play.

But more importantly than those mistakes, I still worry about his mechanics. He is going to develop a lot of bad habits if there is never a clean pocket. Look at what happened to Mac Jones, he stopped stepping to the ball because he was constantly having the pocket collapse around him. Maye could develop bad habits like that.

This year is about the development of Maye. That takes precedence over wins and losses.

So signing Okorafor, Jordan and Leverett as free agents and relying on Lowe to start... that was smart?

BB lives rent free in your spacious head. He's gone. Talk about this team instead of living in the past.

They allowed 7 sacks... blame BB.
..426 record after Brady, very little talent and depth on this team, who else would I blame?

I understand you like watching games in the end of the 4th quater.

Someone straighten this kid out. Cmon man
Now he's gotta deal with the media fallout from that. "I meant goat of active players or some bullcrap... but maybe Mahomes is really the active goat... I don't know man I just started working here give me a break."
