I would hate to see a new punter potentially cause the Pats to lose Morton.

Could they work enough with him to make him an adequate punter?

If anyone ever did this in the NFL it had to be ages ago.

Wasn’t Tupa the reverse? A punter who played some QB?

Tupa started out as a QB, then became a punter...but still played QB in a pinch throughout his career. It’ll be interesting to say the least..

And they were actually infinitely better than last week.
When I was watching I thought to myself that maybe Zolak was talked to during the week, because he was way less annoying than last week.
Still not good, I think he's an idiot, but it was very noticeable to me.

I think you may have been taking a different ... medicine.

He was just intolerably awful -- obviously drunk. I'm not against drink but ... in vino veritas. You see people as they are. What comes out in Zolak's case is that he is a glutton and a bully. All he could talk about was food and stuffing himself, and the most childish thing is the way he accuses others of what he does himself. So we had to put up with his "funny" comments about Steve Burton's greediness.

It's an absolute insult to the guys who work so hard to get on the fringes of an NFL team that he doesn't have the decency to watch them and identify them and their background for the TV audience (whom many of the players will never have again).

If he develops into that, great. The PU postgame podcast has Troy Brown on and he’s said that KW knows how to accelerate. He doesn’t know how to decelerate or lean in or do any of the other things required for a WR.

The thing about trading Boutte to give KW more play time is you need KW to develop or you’re really out two WRs and back to square one.

That’s fair. All I’m saying is there have been incomplete WRs with deep speed & the ability to get open making a lot of money in FA despite deficiencies in route running, hands, etc.

I think he’s shown enough where their highest upside WR trio might be Doubs, Williams outside & Brown in the slot. He’ll need reps to develop and he won’t get them as WR5 so I’m expecting Boutte to be traded.
