I feel good and I kinda get the Penix pick. It robs other teams of a superstar and at no point in time will the falcons suffer subpar qb play as an excuse if injuries occur. Penix probably even makes the defense better by not having to practice against a scrub or practice squad guy.
I hate to see him playing with such an inferior team. I don't see how he can avoid injury, frankly. If this doesn't get better, Maye will not want to stay beyond his rookie contract, and I won't blame him. Too bad the owner doesn't have the Moxie to admit his failure to provide a decent GM, and a HC with some idea what he is doing and to do something about it.
