Everyone can see that “try to get them to jump before the 2 minute warning/fake going for it a 4th down” stuff so easily… It seems like an opportunity to make it look like you’re faking it but then at the last second, actually snap it because the D line is probably not really ready for the snap to happen, you’d catch them sleeping. Especially in short yardage like that one
Everyone talks about how Maye is held back by the OL but I think Stevenson is just as much. He’s had to fight tooth and nail for every yard. If they can fix the line, both guys will have huge jumps.
Our oline is disappointing but I have felt for a long time that we have enough talent elsewhere that we should still put up 20 points if we had better playcalling. Today is one of AVP's better games.
