A win is always nice, something to build on for the remaining of the season and beyond. Good day for the defense overall , Maye continues to impress me every week, really glad we picked him. Makes up for all the other meh picks !!

In other news, the Jets are getting spanked by the Cardinals down 21-6. They are on the road to being 3-7, tied with NE lol

They are the weekly advertisement for how to ruin your franchise.

Btw Jennings has improved so much this year and wise has strung together a few good games after being quiet early. If we get anything from ngakoe as a rotational guy we could legitimately be one effective edge player , sweat or reddick perhaps, away from being good up front. White can play more inside then so that partially solves your dl problem. Then youre basically a boundary cb (options there as well in fa) and lb away, depending on the peppers situation for next year.

Of all the bad teams, the Patriots are the one team who doesn't need 1st OA. They already have a QB. Question is whether they pick a stud or trade down for more assets. it's better to have multiple players than one.

I think it’s more important to get great players with your first pick, but everything about the draft is context. If the Patriots are picking top 5 I would go with Hunter or MacMillen with their first pick, then trade back into the 15-20 range for their tackle. If they are outside the top 5 I would just stay put and take the tackle,

It did definitely feel like a game where they turned the corner a bit and became "competent" offensively... Not good, but functional. Not getting in their own way so much. Need the OL to hold up a bit better (Strange back at LG may help a little?) but it is progress.

Correct me if I am wrong but it seemed like they were using Polk in more of his ideal role as a Z receiver and not as an X like early in the year. They had Boutte and Osborn as the X guys, Polk was a Z and Pop was the slot player. Seemed like Boutte may have flexed a bit. This makes more sense, though it left Bourne off the field.

I missed most of the game on tv, listened to radio, they said it was windy, did that have an effect on the passing game?
Nope - just a really badly located ball. He also threw it high when he should have thrown it low since it was at the front of the end zone which is QB basics.

Bounced off of the Bears DB's hands. Should have been picked.

Supposedly Christian Barmore might come back this season. If he were to return, and Ngakoue is halfway decent, that DL may be pretty darn good. Paired with continued slow offensive improvement and they could grind out a few more wins.

Imagine watching this game from the POV of a Bears fan lol
My buddy is a diehard Bears and Chicago fan. The White Sox were the worst baseball team that he has ever seen.

I dont have the heart to tell him that Williams is a bust.

Tell your buddy I'll take the Bears WRs odunze, DJ Reed and Allen anyday

Nice win, very happy, extremely enjoyable win. Defense was incredible, offense did more than enough to win. I think the team is gaining some confidence.

Never thought they’d win in Chicago, the Bears have a good defense, and much better weapons for Williams than Maye has. But Props to the Pats, they’ve won 2 out of their last 3, both wins, the other team was favored. Could’ve been 3 straight, oh well.

Hopefully they play with a ton of confidence the last 7 games.

Now with this win, it looks like there are 6 teams worse than the Pats in the standings. I know it is still a while before the end of the season but we have gone from the 1st overall pick to the 7th I think. Still the afternoon games to get through !!
