Chicago picked the wrong QB again.
I thought they would have picked Daniels he moved up that much I'm my mind. But I'm happy we got Maye where we did the Third QB been a charm in some Drafts.

So Pats fans do you see what happens when you slack on the oline talent...

Possibly the most insane stat of the 2024 season so far:

Sacks, season:
Matt Judon, 1.5
Brenden Schooler, 1.0

That said, I really hope they use Schooler more on defense in the way that Belichick basically wouldn't with Ebner.

This should do a bit of good for their confidence. Still need to clean things up (penalties). Hopefully they can build on this and string another win together (woohoo 2 win streak! They’re on fire!!).

For you people who are discounting a win against this crappy Bears team..
Do you remember when Bill was supposed to cruise to an easy win at home on a Monday night against a crappy Bears team??
Hmmm???
I'm happy they won today.
Still disappointed that they broke the win streak a few years ago. In embarrassing fashion

Very happy Da Bearz took Williams at 1 while we got Maye. Williams doesn't lift up his teammates; not a leader. Mopes about the game. No passion when things go bad.

Got a bit of the MacMan in him.

It did definitely feel like a game where they turned the corner a bit and became "competent" offensively... Not good, but functional. Not getting in their own way so much. Need the OL to hold up a bit better (Strange back at LG may help a little?) but it is progress.

Correct me if I am wrong but it seemed like they were using Polk in more of his ideal role as a Z receiver and not as an X like early in the year. They had Boutte and Osborn as the X guys, Polk was a Z and Pop was the slot player. Seemed like Boutte may have flexed a bit. This makes more sense, though it left Bourne off the field.

Boutte is showing the value of sticking with young receivers and developing them.

So early in the second half it came to me that there were significantly fewer penalties against the Pats that in past weeks. I was even going to post that information, but I didn't want to jinx it. However, it seems that just that thought was a jinx, because immediately afterwards a long pass to Boutte got called back because illegal man downfield, and that was followed by another penalty, and ultimately a punt.

Still, overall, there was a significant improvement in that regard. Give the team credit for discipline.

Patriots beat a bad Bears team, progress is progress

They are the weekly advertisement for how to ruin your franchise.
Are you not entertained??

USC QBs blow.

This clown wanted part ownership in the Bears. What rookie utters that nonsense before playing an NFL game?

Where he should be Bourne stinks.

They are building. Good comeback last week, then failed in o.t. Love them using 2 TE sets. Adding screens and a decent running attack today. More nice Throws from Maye. I'm ok. Keep winning, F the draft, REBUILD!

I love Drake Maye, wait till next year when he has a line and weapons that put fear into defenses. We’ve got our QB, no doubt about it.

Boutte and Douglas are quality receivers. If they get a true 1 to take the coverage off of them they’ll be even better. I’m on board with either sign Higgins and draft a LT, or sign an LT and draft McMillan.

The stock is up on Mayo. If he can get one more win this year matching 2023, he'll be safe.
