Oh I was referring to Maye. Nobody else did ****. Osborne was pretty good today though
Jennings made some plays. He should play 3 downs. Uche is non competitive.

Ekuale agreed with Mayo that the teaming soft. Bourne said the team lacks energy and needs to self evaluate

i am not sure what mayo thinks his job was . Have a great team and let them play and just be incharge of timeouts and 4th downs ? Its his job to get them ready during the week. His pressers give the impression otherwise
Honestly I imagine that Bill had his hand in sooo much of the teams day to day, Mayo probably wasn’t privy to or a part of seeing not only the defensive side of the ball, but the whole picture. I would think Bill took care of so much minutiae his way, that Mayo didn’t see it? Welcome to the nfl coach !!!

On a positive Maye, Henry, Douglas and Boutte are solid offensive nucleus need a true #1 and at this point nearly an entire OL. But I'll start with a healthy starting 5 two weeks in a row. That would be nice.

Brown can play center as well or better than a young David Andrews. Great find.

Bill came into a situation that was much better than what Fairbanks an Parcells had to build from.
I can't agree with that. The 2000 team was bad. The OL was terrible.

Didn’t say he was but it was time for BB to go. He was absolutely terrible the last 2 seasons.

Yeah I would have taken Brady staying here over BB every time.
If only there was an alternative universe somewhere…

There is no play action, no presnap motion, nearly no RB or TE screens, rarely a WR screen, really nothing new.
In actuality they went to a bunch of screens in the second period that were executed horribly and the motion they had led to a penalty (and then the usual motioner puking his guts and sitting out for a while). Not saying that the OC doesn't have culpability here, but this particular call out of play types not being called is inaccurate.

We lost the game in the trenches ...
not going anywhere until we win in the trenches.
We need the players ... it's not a coaching thing.
Scar says hello …

He was also a lousy head coach over the last 2 seasons.
I blame that on his preppy QB and his Fanboys who thought they knew more than the coach.

Trying to understand this paragraph, are you saying your thought is Mayo will be fired prior to Wolf? Or your thought is Wolf would be fired prior to Mayo?
Cause we can say talent isn’t a full cubboard but this losing streak seems to be coaching to me.
The topic is that Mayo should be fired.

Kraft knew that Mayo had zero experience as a DC nevermind managing a whole NFL team.

Really, really bad look.
He’s lost the team. So in his understandable frustration at players’ failures, he’s throwing them under the bus.

But here is something we need almost as much: LBs. Plenty of them.
That was an area where free agent cash would have made a lot of sense this last off-season - that and a space eater DL run guy.

I’ll admit this version of the team is really really bad. Severely lacking talent all over the football field, no coach can fix that. However, don’t you think teams like Buffalo, Minnesota or Detroit would trade their current competitive teams for just ONE of the Pats SB championships?? This fanbase is so spoiled it’s not even funny. They had historic success for 20 years, could be 10 years of wandering the football desert that follows. Again, I’m on board that the team is terrible and needs vast improvements almost everywhere, but let’s have some perspective here

This is way worse than 1990 when they went 1-15. That team had some good players like Irving Fryar, Vincent Brown, Andre Tippett, Maurice Hurst, and Ronnie Lippett. Plus, their coach- as much as he sucked as a HC, had a lot of success as a DC.

I felt way more confident then that things were eventually going to turn around.

This team really only has a few players that I'm interested in building around: Maye, Douglas, Jennings, Gonzales, Marcus Jones, (maybe) Barmore if he gets healthy, (maybe) White if he grows up, (maybe) Mapu, and their punter and kicker.

First of all, we need a whole new GM and scouting team.
We need a new OC.
We need a new DC.
We need a new HC for sure.
We need a whole new RB group. BTW our running backs absolutely suck and Wolfe has mostly got a pass for this, which I don't understand. RBs are much easier to find then tackles, for example.4
We need a whole new WR group. BTW, why hasn't Baker been given an opportunity? You have nothing to lose at this point.
We need a backup QB.
We need new tackles and a new Center.
We need basically a new D line.
We need new linebackers outside of Jennings. BTW where has Uche been? Missing person alert.
We need help at safety.

Honestly if you could do a Herschell Walker or Ricky Williams type of deal by moving Maye I think you have to consider it. That's how bad things are.
Talk about a grocery list !!!

DEI causes craziness. I work in a Fortune 50 company that’s male dominated. So hiring a female as a manager when she would never sniff the position if she were a white male is almost commonplace.

RK was wearing his rose colored glasses. Facts were unimportant.
