This Mayo thing was never going to work. If they ever find an OC that gets the most out of Maye, eventually they will get hired away. And you’ll have to start over again and again. Get with the times and find an offensive HC that can stick with Maye long term.
I’d hire Jon Gruden tomorrow as HC. At least the guy knows offense. Plus, you know he’s paint over Jerod’s DEI mural which would whip everyone into a frenzy.

I’m not praising mayo at all but like I said in my previous posts, we went 4-13 last season. Acting like this team would be a 9-10 win team with a different coaching staff is laughable. We’ve had major injuries and let our best defensive player walk. I highly doubt that was all Mayo. As a group i agree I’m disappointed but actually suggesting that firing mayo makes sense at this juncture is laughable.
It is fair to give him to the end of the year, but I fully expect his deficiencies to become more obvious over that period. I will note that you have offered no empirical support for your assertion, but whatever: we shall see.
Never said that but blaming him for the complete lack of talent on the roster is also a stretch. We have the most cap space in the league and we made virtually no free agent signings. Tells you what the owners/ wolf’s expectations are regardless of what Kraft says.
Yeah, I am only watching right now to see if Drake maye can make some good plays and get some reps… The rest of the season is a waste ….time to look into the draft and free agency market but we never pay for the big players anyways

Look no farther than the recent Bears trade with the Panthers in 2023.
They got a future first and second (in 2024 draft) and the 9th pick in the draft (drafted stud WR Odunze). They also got a top WR in Moore and a second in 2023.
