Next week. I still think we win too many games to even sniff a chance at the top QBs in the draft.

This was a team loss .. the tone of the game was set with the defense allowing Dallas to March down the field. Mac having to force something.. we know what we have at WR.. the only positive u can think of is Thornton being available to At carry coverage. Parker & JuJu aren't cutting it.

It’s easy to bash Bryant. But I don’t fault him. He is what he is.

While others miss, he shows up. I don’t ever think it’s an effort thing, because he seems to care and try.

He is what he is. An effort guy with limited given ability. I don’t hate Bryant. I do, however, strongly believe that a VG team would either have him as an emergency player, if he was able to make the squad.

I’m much more frustrated by players I feel have the natural ability and aren’t producing. Don’t get me wrong : the lack of natural ability - overall - is a major issue for NE.

Pretty sure that Bryant, as the 4th string CB is an emergency starting player. I mean, the Pats were down 5 CBs if you include Bolden.

He was was playing fine the first three weeks. Not great, but good enough that if he had real talent around him the Pats had a real shot at being 3-0 coming into this game.

There is no excuse for his play today. He was worse than awful. But let’s not like his play today was remotely like he played the first three weeks.

League average offense changes the game completely.

I've been a fence-sitter on the Mac debate, because it was hard for me to see whether you could rule out other factors in his mediocrity, but today's performance is tough to overlook. Yeah, the OL sucks, but they were just a wet fart in pass protection rather than a full **** sundae.

What was that thing that happened to Rick Ankiel all those years ago? When he forgot how to pitch and had to become an outfielder? I wonder if Mac is going through something like that...who knows?

I don't think the team is completely terrible at all. In fact, expect enough wins to stay out of the Top 10 in the draft. Could be worth bringing in a veteran QB just to get the quality offensive rooks (like Demario, and maybe Boutte) some real reps.

If zappe was the better QB ANY team in the NFL would have claimed him off waivers when the patriots cut him.

Clearly that is faulty logic because no team claimed Zappe, yet Zappe is a better quarterback than Mac Jones.

I guess that if/then statement doesn't hold up.

Zero interest in seeing Mac benched for Zappe. Grier is a different story. Bring him up to QB2 to light a fire under Mac. If Mac is QB1 material he will start playing like he’s saying Fcuk Grier it’s my team.

If Belichick is benching Mac after today, bring in Nick Foles. I have no interest in seeing Zappe.

Awful game. At least the defense showed some heart. The worst part really was losing judon and Gonzalez for multiple weeks.

Dust off and move on to New Orleans. Winnable game

Agreed! N.O is no push over. We have no one to cover olave with Gonzo out. I expect the defense to slip.. 3 points from and NFL team is embarrassing

I said that he played good enough to win with real talent around him. Didn’t say that was fine. The Pats could have beat the Eagles if Boutte dragged the second foot. And the Patriots had opportunities to get back into the game with the Dolphins.

They scored under 20 PPG in those two losses. He’s the primary reason.

Judon appears to potentially be gone for the year, based on Deatrich Wise Jr.'s comments. Called it "devastating" and said he'll be there with them "mentally" for the rest of the year and said someone else will need to step up. Then realized he screwed up with what he said when someone followed up on what he inferred and he said "I don't know."
