Peppers played after he got hurt. Don’t know about the others, but Saints aren’t very good. Didn’t even manage 200 yards of offense today at home. i think we can squeak past them.

I’m not a pro-Zappe guy, so I stopped reading after that fist line. Nice try, though. Mac had a **** in his mouth the entire day. He legitimately looked like he was about to cry. He’s a *****. The loss starts and ends with him.

But I am not defending Mac. Whether Mac sucks or doesn’t suck. The fact the offense sucks so bad is because of Belichick. If he thought Mac sucks, it is his job to surround him with real talent and not a bunch of 2-3s WRs and a makeshift o-line.

I still stand by what I said about last season. If ANY other coach made the decisions Belichick did and got those results, potentially damaging the development of their second year QB, they would be fired.

Belichick should be fired. His ego is out of hand. The coaching staff has nothing new to it. They're all his kids, former coaches, and former players. His drafting is shoddy, his roster construction lopsided.

BB has to go, but in your mind the jury is still out on Mac. ha-ha.

Roster construction? Meh. They've been drafting fine. I see a relatively deep and balanced roster.

The problem is the offense, specifically the QB and OL. Mac Jones simply isn't a good QB; he needs to go and be upgraded. The OL is an obvious shortcoming and BB dropped the ball on that front this past offseason, no argument. I don't know what he could've done differently but the OL is not anywhere near good enough.

I agree to some extent with the lack of novelty/turnover on the coaching staff, but the defense (the place where his sons coach) is perfectly good. My bigger concern is the strength & conditioning staff. I get the sense they're out-of-touch and antiquated in their approach; too many injuries, guys nicked up, look slow/sluggish, heavy on their feet. They need to seriously evaluate how they're preparing/training these guys physically.

In my opinion, Jones should not have been starting from the get go. Zappe has always been the better quarterback. The problem is that we are now 1-3 with one foot in the grave so it's going to be that much more difficult to turn things around.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the season or Bill yet, but I'm close. He's just about out of chances and next week is a very big week for him. He loses next week, or even the next 2 weeks, this is going to get VERY ugly and I doubt he survives the year

Not sure wtf you were smoking, but Zappe was garbage in the pre-season and in Training camp. It's why he was cut and signed to the PS before being re-signed.

He was was playing fine the first three weeks. Not great, but good enough that if he had real talent around him the Pats had a real shot at being 3-0 coming into this game.

There is no excuse for his play today. He was worse than awful. But let’s not like his play today was remotely like he played the first three weeks.

The Mac apologist is the craziest I've ever seen. He's a scrub and we need someone better. I can understand if it was someone who's made great plays for us in the past but what has Mac done? He's just another player who's not good enough.
