i have found a more cheap version to forget all this

I'm doing dry January. Not sure why I agreed to it full knowing how this season would end.....

This 100%.

The Bears would be foolish to move on from Fields. They invested in the last 3 years in his development, it would be stupid to cut bait when it is starting to pay off. Take Harrison to help him. MHJ and Moore is a very good 1-2 and if Fields doesn’t pan out you probably in a position to draft a QB next year and have a lot offensive talent around your new QB.

The Pats should be able to trade to one.
He's statistically, in his 3rd year, at best an average QB, in the last 2 minutes of a half and a game he's statistically a very, very bad QB.
Now they need to commit big money to him really soon, or they can take a once in a decade QB prospect, and still draft a good Wide Receiver with the other pick in a deep Wide Receiver draft, AND probably get some desperate team to throw you a second-round pick for Fields.
I see no reasons why they would NOT move on from Fields.

No you don’t. Because THOSE ARE THE GAMES WE PLAYED. This years team, the games they played had at least 7 losses that would have been wins with average qb. If we okayed the 49ers 17 times that wouldn’t be the case, but we didn’t.
How can you say oh lets assume the pats get a significant better qb? But let the other teams talent the same. You can not change the variables only on one team

Let's assume the opposite
the giants play with burrow and the pats keep zappe (just the other way around of your comparison)
Result?? blowout

What point proves this? That you would be another teams backup qb with a top 10 qb?

you have not shown a single fact
Of course have.
Look at the Indy game. Remember, the one where 10 underthrew a 14 yard pass to a wide open receiver in the end zone to win the game, by 6 yards.
Put an average qb in his place that day and it is 100% certain we win.
Apply that to all the games I listed, and you either agree or you are lying.

Who is a once in a decade qb prospect?

“The Patriots would drastically improve if you flipped one score results” is quickly broken down by the fact they’re going to finish with a bottom five overall point differential.

It’s more fair to make all the one possession results neutral (.500) for each team as a gauge of their actual talent level and ability. In this case the Patriots would remain a very bad team, though perhaps not an abysmal team.

Ive basically proven the qb held back the team. I’ve shown facts. It’s not really even debatable. You just parrot your uneducated unsupported opinion.
"proven" lol

what if you apply an average qb at the other teams in these games as well? you think the result of the games would be different if the pats and the other team both had average qb play? you think the pats were the only team with missed opportunities in these games?

No way! they'd be 7 games better if they had an average QB so that means they were so close this year111!!!111

i respect that
i tried this too but already failed yesterday on a friends birthday party, couldn't resist

What are you talking about?

I am talking about the impact THIS SEASON in THE GAMES PLAYED of poor qb play.

Remember those 20 years when Andy used to quote Bill and say “you are what your record is” and laugh at all the other fanbases trying to change results by retconning them with woulda coulda shoulda scenarios? I remember that.

No way they'd be 7 games better if they had an average QB
Which of the 7 required better than average qb play to win?

Remember when Andy used to laugh at anyone giving props to a guy like Reid or Tomlin since it was Brady vs Smith or Brady va Roethlisberger and Andy used to say the coach is responsible for absolutely everything? I remember those 20 years.

What are you talking about?

I am talking about the impact THIS SEASON in THE GAMES PLAYED of poor qb play.
i am talking about your argument
you are arguing that the pats were hold back by bad qb play and would have won with average qb play

but you forget to account that other teams had bad qb play too and were hold back

so if both teams have average qb play, pats still loose

Yea the social events are a challenge....

For me, alcohol is kinda easy to give up but I do miss a glass of wine, a beer or a bourbon before dinner time. Club soda it is...

Giving up coffee in the AM I would have a hard time with.

Because we all know that team would prepare for Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones anyway even though they were facing that average QB. lol

And if the 4 teams beaten by the Patriots had average QB play they'd be 0-17. "Proven"!

Yes and you are the proof because you keep dodging it.
I'll see your proof and I raise you a 13 loss season to take down the pot.

I didn’t forget account for anything. I am looking at the exact games.
I am not talking about how another teams season was impacted by their qb I am talking about the patriots.
If 10 had played like an average qb, who we played, who they had on the field, our schedule, etc etc etc all would have ben the same.
I am literally talking about the exact games they played.
