The QBs are bad but it’s not all on them. The O-line is bad the receivers are poor. No slot receiver, no viable 3rd down back who can reliable catch the ball. This team is more than a QB away on offense. How else do you evaluate the impact the QB had on the team?
But if Zappe started week 1 we're contenders or something. The offense overall is expansion level in terms of talent. The QBs are bad but it’s not all on them. Yes, that Super Bowl victory 5 years ago was one of the worst moments of my life. But it can’t get any worse honestly. BB has run this team into the ground for the last 5-6 years.
We finished 4-13, have no QB, have a terrible OL, no weapons on O and bad STs…all under Bill’s guidance.
Don't blink but the Commanders are now leading the Cowboys 10-7. If the Cowpokes unexpectedly roll over the Patriots will secure the #2 pick in the draft! The lower they can trade down is 3. Arizona is at 4 and they would want Harrison too
History if BB is still around, that is.That's as close to a confirmation from BB as we'll get that McCorkle is history. Bye bye
Then why didn't they offer it to him to begin with? That's all he wanted. They treated him like a 3rd string ST player instead of like the GOAT. OTOH, TB was excited to have him.He said he would’ve matched the Bucs offer, but Tom wanted to leave.
Mayo will get a chance but it won't just be handed to him. That would be something if Mayo goes from passing up a HC interview to return to NE without any new titles, only to be shown the door one year later.
I know, that’s been said here, but but he’s bad and the O talent is bad.But if Zappe started week 1 we're contenders or something.
Nah even if Bill goes it’s best for Mac and the patriots that he continue to try to salvage his career elsewhere.History if BB is still around, that is.
Nah, the OC were all offense was held back by the QB play. With adequate qb play they would have been in the playoffs. The offense overall is expansion level in terms of talent. The QBs are bad but it’s not all on them. The O-line is bad the receivers are poor. No slot receiver, no viable 3rd down back who can reliable catch the ball. You know exactly what I mean, Bill has destroyed this team since the 2018 seasonYes, that Super Bowl victory 5 years ago was one of the worst moments of my life.
Douglas is a find and has a good chance of being that slot guy, or really expanded slot guy (I.e. Brown and Jules vs Welker and Amendola). But he’s not there yet, and all 4 of those guys took multiple years to get there. But we have problems everywhere else you mention. The offense overall is expansion level in terms of talent. The QBs are bad but it’s not all on them. The O-line is bad the receivers are poor. No slot receiver, no viable 3rd down back who can reliable catch the ball. My guess is that they initially didn’t want to do it, but did their usual 11th hour matching which didn’t sit well with Tom.Then why didn't they offer it to him to begin with? That's all he wanted. They treated him like a 3rd string ST player instead of like the GOAT. OTOH, TB was excited to have him.
I agree but a new HC may not feel that way.Nah even if Bill goes it’s best for Mac and the patriots that he continue to try to salvage his career elsewhere.
