Ah, the Dee Ford offsides game. And the phantom RP call on Chris Jones for hitting Brady's shoulder and not his head that extended Brady's drive. Just stop.

"What If's..."Talk about ignoring context - you are focusing on one game, while I'm focusing on the totality of Brady's 2001 season, including his 2.5 playoff games. So Brady plays the entire Pittsburgh game - at best he gets 1-2 touchdowns for a grand total of 3 that postseason. Whoop dee do.
That's still not being carrried. Unless you're saying Brady walked off the field and someone else was wearing his jersey and dominated that Chiefs defense in the second half when Mahomes was lighting up BB's defense like a gas can and in OT.Ah, the Dee Ford offsides game. I'm talking about his playoff totals for that season, which you bragged about being poor. And 3 touchdowns in three games - if that's how it played out - would have been fine. We had a ground game that year. No different than how it's been in recent years when our running backs are scoring close to 10+ a season. Brady's job as a first-year starter was to make plays, not turn it over, and win the game. Did they have a good defense? Absolutely. But they also had a solid QB who is the reason why they ended up beating one of the most explosive teams in league history.Talk about ignoring context - you are focusing on one game, while I'm focusing on the totality of Brady's 2001 season, including his 2.5 playoff games. There's also no evidence that he wouldn't have. There is no evidence Brady would have even gotten to 1-2 touchdowns in the Pittsburgh game.
Mahomes was "carried" I guess....So, Brady averaged 1 TD per game in 2001 in 2+ playoff games. How pedestrian.
It's too bad he wasn't as good as Super Bowl Mahomes. In 2 games (the biggest games), Mahomes is averaging 1 TD and 2 INT's per game. A 64 Rating. How less than pedestrian.

Nope and the budding dynasty is stopped cold in its tracks before it starts. BB tries to make the QB switch anyway later in the year, Drew is NOT the team player that he was the way things happened, the locker room is fractured, Kraft intervenes on behalf of Drew, and then BB is fired shortly after that. What if Drew didn’t get injured. Does anyone believe we get to the SB?
You can look at the raw #s. I'll remember it based on what we all visually watched and base it on how he was playing in that game prior to his injury.Like I said, the sample size of the 2.5 playoff games that he did play in suggests that nothing would have been different.
I remember the start of the 2001 season vividly. After the 2000 season debacle all I could think of was "here we go again" after losing the first 2 gamesWhat if Drew didn’t get injured. Does anyone believe we get to the SB?
Aren't you going to add Mahomes career Super Bowl passer rating to your sig? I'll give you his rating here you go: it's 64.He had 10 touchdowns and 2 INTs in the year they won...not sure where you are going with this.
