I like what I've seen given he is a rookie and the last player picked in the draft. It feels eerily like Brady/Pats in 2001. He's not lighting the world on fire, but makes timely throws and doesn't look phased by the moment. Now they are going up against a team most will think will kick the crap out of them like people thought Pittsburgh would to NE.

He has definitely taken Lance's job. The front office will have to decide if they will consider trading him.
Purdy has been so impressive this season. His poise and pocket presence is off the
chart. His accuracy is very good and he does not turn the ball over. It's not always about eye popping stats. With the niners it's about defense first, run game 2nd and passing third. Not turning the ball over is paramount. This kid has performed brilliantly.
He is much better than Garropolo would have been because he does not turn the ball over.

Next week in Philly, the niners defense and rushing game will be paramount as well as Purdy being smart with the ball. They have a better chance to win with Purdy than they would have had with Jimmy.

This game wasn't his best. The Cowgirls dropped 3 INTs and Kittle bailed him out with some insane catches. He's doing good though just two more wins

I'm in the Bay area and have seen every game Purdy has played. To people who haven't yet seen him, many of the first half plays he seemed to be hesitant to throw on time. I think Dallas came prepared and nothing was open. Rather than force it, he got what he could. One thing to note was the post game interview with Kittle, who said he was not even in the first 4 progression reads of the play and yet Purdy hits him in stride in the second half of a huge game. Five reads in one play against the best pressure rush in football?

What part of the bay area?

He looks good out there, but you can’t overlook that the Niners have the best supporting cast in the NFL. Garoppolo had the second highest ANY/A when he got injured. Samuel, Aiyuk, Kittle, McCaffrey and a hell of an offensive line, plus a top defense. Not to take anything away from him, but goddamn that is one stacked offense.

Bengals/49ers or Bengals/Eagles Super Bowl should be good. Chiefs/Eagles or Chiefs/49ers would result in another blowout like the Bucs gave KC if Mahomes is still (likely) hobbled by then. I'd love to see Burrow win one.
this would be excellent

Good news, the Bengals are winning next week.
Not until KC loses will I consider them dead.
They're pretty clutch as a team and lucky as hell

Parsons talks too much he needs to STFU and take the L

Only seven games into his career, Brady didn't look all that impressive either. He didn't win two playoff games then either.

Purdy rarely, if ever, threw a ball to the sideline. I was thinking this guy is small with no Arm and can only throw down the middle of the field, and then the color analyst said Purdy only throws down the middle. And the Cowboys kept allowing the slant, which the analyst also pointed out. The Eagles will take away the middle of the field, and then we will see what Purdy can do. Purdy didn't make anything happen, amazing how the 49ers dictated the game to the Cowboys. The 49ers will not be able to do that against the Eagles. The Eagles have too much talent and are too well coached.

Zappe looks better than Purdy, but the 49ers are so stacked with talent. The 49ers must have had some amazing drafts.

I agree. The 49ers talent level is absurd. The Eagles are stacked too. I am intrigued how the 49ers look against the Eagles. Stack the middle of the field and make the 49ers run and throw outside the numbers. It would be interesting to see what happens.

Gotta wonder if the ghosts of Marv Levy/ Jim Kelly continue to haunt the Buffalo Bills..

Between 1991-94 that dynamic duo took the Bills to the Superbowl and lost all 4. They always had gaudy Offensive numbers.

Good news, the Bengals are winning next week.
The Bengals are prime for a loss.

KC has never beat Burrow. I believe that you will see KC wreak havoc on the Bengals battered OL.
