2023 Mock Drafts

looks like PFN is simulating player trades as well now?

This was with doing lots of trade backs in Rnd 1 after the big 3 tackles and CBs were gone

Fanspeak mock, no trades. I'd be very, very happy with this.

107: R4 P5 DE Adetomiwa Adebawore - Northwestern
117: R4 P15 S Jammie Robinson - Florida State

Great mock. Realistically I think you need to add a punter and kicker.

I’d be extremely shocked if Flowers lasted until 46.

public service announcement:

Anyone using a PC can very quickly and easily take screenshots of their draft results, rather than copy/paste it into the chat so that it looks like an albatross

Shift + Windows Key + S

It prompts a GUI where you can select the part of your screen you want to screenshot. Once you select it, you just copy paste it into chat (Ctrl + V)

That would be a great draft, but I cannot see how Forbes lasts that long. I hope he does, but like I have said before, teams are desperate for quality CBs and expect some runs on CBs early in the draft.

  • Had some time earlier today while waiting for the April showers to end... The two Tackles, CBs Witherspoon & Gonzo, and JSN were all off the board by 14, so it was Trade-Down Time (a small one to 17 then a big one to 26), even though Quentin Johnston & JPorterJr were still available:

  • 26. Anton Harrison LT Oklahoma

  • 47. Mazi Smith NT Michigan

  • 49. Jack Campbell LB Iowa

  • 60. Emmanuel Forbes CB Mississippi State

  • 82. Matthew Bergeron OT Syracuse

  • 92. Sam LaPorta TE Iowa

  • 107. Ricky Stromberg C/G Arkansas

  • 129. Riley Moss DB Iowa

  • 150. Charlie Jones SLR Purdue

  • 167. YaYa Diaby DE Louisville

  • 189. Nick Herbig OLB Wisconsin

  • 210. Elijah Higgins WR/TE Stanford

  • 216. Evan Hull 3DB Northwestern

  • 223. Chamarri Conner DB Virginia Tech

  • CB A.Witherspoon
    WR J.Tolbert

  • 2024 CIN 2nd
    2024 TB 5th
  • 2024 DEN 6th
  • 2024 SF 7th
  • 2024 TB 7th
I also acquired a 2nd-rounder next year in the trade-downs, in case we need to load-up on ammunition to go QB-hunting in 2024.

This one just now was much more direct because Witherspoon was still available at 14 and Darnell Washington at 46:

  • 14. Devon Witherspoon CB Illinois

  • 46. Darnell Washington TE Georgia

  • 82. Matthew Bergeron OT Syracuse

  • 107. Jonathan Mingo WR Mississippi

  • 117. Zach Harrison DE Ohio State

  • 135. Riley Moss DB Iowa

  • 153. Charlie Jones WR Purdue

  • 170. Jaxson Kirkland OL Washington
187. Juice Scruggs C/G Penn State

196. Nick Herbig OLB Wisconsin

224. Chamarri Conner DB Virginia Tech

226. Evan Hull 3DB Northwestern

232. Bumper Pool LB Arkansas

252. Jerrod Clark NT Coastal Carolina via Dorchestah MA

  • 2024 GB 7th
  • 2024 TB 7th

No help for next year, but that's the price to be paid for not compromising in the 1st & 2nd rounds.

Hendon Hooker was trending as a top 10 pick until he got a bad injury.

He was better than Richardson.
That arguably makes it worse. I do not want another three months of media argle bargle about a looming QB competition.

Eh, I just want a top QB. If Mac ain't it, it would be a coup to have a top guy picked in the 3rd round just because he has a very bad injury.
