Defense class is looking solid rn. Seeing Harrison and Jackson with first rd. Grades as well as thibodeaux...Looks like a good edge class rn...kaair elam and stingley as good CB..

Posted in another thread that I'm going to focus on WR's to begin with. Starting with:

Garrett Wilson, Ohio State
Chris Olave, Ohio State
Justyn Ross, Clemson
George Pickens, Georgia
John Metchie, Alabama
Theo Wease, Oklahoma
Jadon Haselwood, Oklahoma
Khalil Shakir, Boise State
Jahan Dotson, Penn State
Treylon Burks, Arkansas
Ty Fryfogle, Indiana

Don’t focus on WRs, you’ll only be disappointment come draft day.

I would love for bb to draft metchie, if metchie runs well!

I thought metchie did a solid job of keeping teams from doubling smith too much last season,

Bring him aboard!!!

With a name like Fryfogle, he's gotta be my binkie next year... :)

There are some really interesting qb’s potentially coming out next season:

Howell of unc- a smaller qb, but makes good decisions and is fairly accurate.

rattler of Oklahoma - should have a really good year this year.

Malik of liberty - everybody’s favorite mobile qb.

ridder is Cincinnati - combo of good thrower and runner,

I started to watch some Highlight tape to get a feel for the draft class and i wasn't too much thrilled with Howell. So many deep balls to non open WR which would have been INT's on the next Level imo.

You don't like Slovis?

yes, I like slovis, he was very interesting to watch last year. I just do not know if would declare. I think he will go back to school and be in the 2023 draft.

of course, some agent could whisper in his ear and change that, but right now I think he goes back to school.

Vrabel any family connection there ?

Cb stingley of lsu has some amazing tape.
Unless newton starts at qb all year, I doubt he will be on the board when we pick, but I think he would be an ideal candidate to replace Gilmore.

I assume we will be picking OT and defensive secondary in the first few rounds?

As it stands rn those are the two biggest needs I agree. Neither our starting OT or CB are signed long term, we could still move Onwenu to RT if we don’t resign brown and would have a good OT duo for next season with Wynn on the other side but would need a starter at G. I assume FS could be important as well if Williams or someone else is not able to fill that role as a starter. There are a few possible good CB who could be a top pick next year. OT doesn’t look that deep at the top rn according to sources but that can change

Agree completely PFFO. OT, maybe OG, CB and a Free Safety. That is what I will be looking for.

2021 was QB, DT and DE, no surprises there.

It would be great if our WRs over performed so the WR draft talk is reduced from the normal hysteria to a secondary topic.
