Report is they aren't actively trying to trade Gilmore and Jackson is because no one is spending a #2 and a big contract so Pats would would likely be able to match, unless the team front loaded it but I just don't think that would happen this year, they'd want to backload because the cap is gonna jump when that new tv money kicks in which would mean getting him on a lesser deal than they would with him hitting FA next year and if some team does offer a big contract they get a 2nd rd pick 2021 instead of probably a 4th in 2023

I think as it stands right now unless some team bowls them over Gilmore & Jackson are the #1 & #2 going into training camp

People on here actually want him at the number. 58.1% career catch rate and there are people mad because Belichick isn't offering him 18m per. But apparently Agholor at $11m is TERRIBLE

BTW here are Gollladay and Agholor's best seasons

Golladay
116 target
65 rec
56.0% catch rate
1190 yards
18.3 AVG
11 TD

Agholor
82 targets
48 rec
58.5% catch rate
900 yards
18.7 AVG
8 TD

Could be argued when properly used Agholor can be just as good as Golladay

But hey then again i'm a big Pats & Belichick (sans Brady) HOMER, so what do I know.

Haha man talk about blind praise just cause we signed the guy absolutely absurd. Next up Cam is just as good as Watson if used properly

If he can stay healthy this year, that 5th year option is guaranteed. Wouldn’t be surprised if we draft at least 2 more tackles as insurance. With Brown and Wynn coming up on getting paid soon, OL is gonna cost the team a ton of money real quick!
I'd be astonished if they drafted 2 more OT. One is likely, but not 2. You don't have space on the roster to carry 5 OTs. Wynn and Brown are your starting LT and RT respectively. Herron proved a capable swing tackle last season despite only being a rookie. That leaves you ONE space for a draftee, Cajuste, or Cunningham.

Will they likely bring in an OT as a priority UDFA? Most certainly. The always do. Just like they've been bringing in UDFA CBs.

I agree. When I said draft two I was including UDFA. MB.

So far BB has been going young with multiple contract years in FA....very good idea. Not a fan of signing 30+ yr old players at this point. I'd prefer a rook or someone still on their rook contract over Trufant...who would be CB4+.
Jonathan Jones is a slot CB. He should not be allowed to cover WRs on the perimeter or larger WRs down the field.

Trufant may suck or too old now but when healthy and younger he erased guys.

I know it’s a running joke now.... but here’s an interesting article about Kenny Moore that was just published, who noted how he hated football in his 2017 training camp here.
You can’t break Kenny Moore

And general insight from Tavon Wilson in that article.... basically their culture is really hard on rookies and new players, almost with the intention to break them. Once you get over the hump, it’s the most fun place you can play for, but many people just can’t get over that hump.
Many successful leaders operate that way. The tone you set at the start really makes a difference.

Now nobody reported this and this is a downer for me I have to admit like what the Jets are doing.

Kind of like Cole. Seems like a good deal.

Interesting article. Reading between the lines I get a sense that his insecurities and emotional issues were just not a fit here.

Don't know if it was mentioned already - Juju back to Pitt

Yup I'm happy about the Cole signing.

5.5 for him is better than JuJu at 11 + 5 in incentives (which is probably what it would have taken to get him out of Pitt).

A guy who's getting better after a few years. Has played roughly 50/50 outside/slot.

Versatile relatively cheap talent to be WR4 or jump right in if Mims doesn't progress in year 2.

Of our signings, Lawson probably makes the biggest impact, but Cole likely is the best value.

Agree they have been making good moves.
They definitely have more talent than us at wide out but we are smashing them at Tight end.
Maybe not include Gilmore or Jackson but we should try to get Michael Gallup or a receiver with that similar skill set.
I still think we need 2 more wideouts especially if we are trading Harry and can’t count on the health of Edelman.

He’s also not an insufferable dbag (that I know of), so it’s a win win for you

In other words you soft sweet heart.
Wouldn't put it so harshly. He did recover and has found success, that requires strength.

Hopefully he finds a way to stabilize his emotions in his life. Going from "I hate it, everything sux, I'm not cut out for this I wanna quit" to having a huge painting of yourself on a throne seems (disclaimer: I'm not a doctor) a sign of bipolar disorder.
