What's to say they won't bring Tomlinson in as well? Though it's doubtful.
With Butler and Guy being Free agents, they really needed to address the line.. Especially since the one "NT" they had spent all last year injured and the other guy (Davis) has major concussion issues and is a FA as well.

I like both moves so far! TE and DL were my top two needs (after QB obviously), and these add talent to both groups. Still would like one more DL and a lower level vet TE, but next on my priority list are WR and LB.

Id definitely expect another DL vet - Guy or similar mold.
Anderson was cut from NYJ so he wouldn't count as FA gained either..

I hope they aim at upgrade though like Wolfe, maybe take a flyer on Kawann, Casey..

And you don't think that Flowers had incentives and escalations in his deal?

The original numbers being referred to for Flowers were only the guaranteed money over three years (not including incentives or escalations). My math is that his contract is $54.4m if he players three years ($18.1/ year) not the $17.7m you cited. Either way, it's above the comparable number for Barrett.

JuJu and Harry are nowhere close to being comparable. JuJu is still an excellent young WR who was unfortunately relegated to being Big Ben's 5 yard out target. It's more important to see that he had 97 receptions on 128 targets.
