Still can’t believe we chose Michel over Chubb.

Pats won a SB w Sony. SEA picked Penny. It's the draft. Move on. A SB was won w Sony carrying the rock. The pick served it's purpose.

Besides, I don't think this extension happens if he is a NEP. Pats place a different value system on RBs.

Chubb ave 80yds a game in 46 games
Sony ave 64ypg in 42 games
Harris was about 70 ypg last year

For the NEP that's good enough.

Pass protection and receiving ability were the deciding factors. 2 critical components of a Patriots RB (esp a rb protecting 12)

Minus injury and a total implosion of our offense..Sony Michel has done nothing but produce on a committee. Not sure what else you can ask of him as a end of 1st round rb.

We can review every pick we made minus Brady and say "man , we coulda picked...." and I'm sure teams looks at some of our players drafted and say the same...But what good does that do? It's not apples to apples. There's no telling how a player would preform here vs another team. Michel , hasn't panned out to be the next Barry Sanders ....and that's ok. He is/was serviceable - cheap and productive. Far from a bust... A little disappointing based on draft position? Maybe..I'll give you that ..but it's not a HUGE whiff considering how productive we've been running the ball.

I would in a heartbeat. I had a 2nd on him so he was drafted a round too early imo. He wasn't bad in his rookie year at all. They just hired Bradley who like any coach wants his guys in there. Signed Hayward who is a fit and excelled. Annette is best in press man but struggled in zone last year.

I mean that team is kind of a mess. Where's the support, direction, putting him in the beat spot to succeed. Again though they're a mess.

A rival, but good for him. Allen seems like a very down to Earth guy.

Smart move by the Bills, without doubt. Allen is really good...lock him up for as long as possible.
